Great,cozy,and a snowmobilers Paradise

  • 5 of 5

It is a great house to stay at. The homeowners are great to deal with. They were up the week before we came up and they gave us Snow conditions all week long. The house is right by Moosehead Lake and the main Trail. They took very good care of us. We will be staying there next year.

Great spot in the woods

  • 4 of 5

The hosts of this great little retreat are very nice and easily reachable if in a pinch. The cabin is updated and clean, with all of the necessary amenities. We came up at the last minute for a 2 day ATV trip and couldn't have been happier with the cabin. Everything that one needs for a short or long stay is here, including comfortable beds. Well, at least the one we used. We were told we should bring towels, as they apparently have a tendency to grow legs at said beautiful camp in the woods. I do hope that the spares that we brought make it a bit so that other travelers won't have to worry about a towel of all things. Hotels charge you for that stuff, geez. As for ATV'ing ... unfortunately we were a bit land locked due to closures for logging (mid-July) and couldn't get down to Greenville just two minutes down the street from where we were. Didn't quite make it to Kokadjo because we couldn't get to Greenville for gas, hmmm Still had a great time, how can you not being out in the fresh air with no rush to be anywhere and no one demanding your attention

Wonderful Trip, Incredible Hosts

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I decided to rent a camp this summer for our anniversary instead of going to the coast... what a treat! We loved the seclusion and being able to bring our dogs. Family and friends popped in and out for visits and all had a wonderful time. The camp was adorable and very clean. We will be renting again in the winter!

Very nice place

  • 5 of 5

Place was very nice and comfortable...wood stove was awesome especially since it was -7 degrees...we had aweful trail conditions and very cold weather but having a nice warm place to gather and eat, drink, and socialize made it better....the owners were fantastic and were right there for you...have no complaints except for mother nature but unfortunately she won this one.

Awesome ice derby weekend!

  • 5 of 5

This was my first experience renting a place to stay for a weekend and we could not have picked a better home or couple to rent from! The house was amazing! So cozy. Perfect for our group and so clean and tidy! We had everything we needed there. Lesa was great at answering all my questions and offering up advice about her favorite places to eat and things to do! Was truly the best experience, and we will be making this an annual trip! So thanks again, Lesa! You guys are awesome! We can't wait to come back!

Incredible Snowmobile "Base Camp"

  • 5 of 5

This house severed as the perfect snowmobiling lodge for 4 days and 5 nights. Our small group of three brought two snowmobiles and rented a third in Greenville. The yard offered us ample room to park the snowmobiles and maneuver two vehicles (one with a trailer) without issue. From the house we rode around Elephant Mountain (stopping at the B-52 site), around Moosehead Lake, to the base of Katahdin, and to Moxie falls. Easy access to the wide and well maintained trails (ITS 85/86) allowed us to log more than 560 miles in 4 days without having to get up early or stay out much past sunset.

After our long days on the trails, this house offered us a warm wood stove, much needed showers, and a very comfortable place to relax/rest. The proximity to Greenville meant we were able to quickly run into town for fuel, food, or other supplies. Lesa and Kevin were very communicative and accommodating when we had questions.

We had a great time and look forward to returning next year.
