Built in the late 1870's, this grand antebellum home is one of New Orleans finest in architectural design. Imagine yourself in the late 1800's living in a southern antebellum mansion that boasted the finest in European chandeliers, iron work and floor to ceiling stained glass windows.

This home has the finest of furnishings in close proximity to the St. Charles streetcar line that can take you from the Central Business District, French Quarter or to the the Uptown are that includes Audoban Park and Tulane and Loyola Universities. Come enjoy one of the greatest American cities that welcome tourist's as if it were your home 'somewhere in time'.

Given the architectural beauty of this home, the bedrooms are expansive with large doors and windows and tall ceilings. The king-size bedroom is adjoined with a large bathroom that boasts decorative ceramic tiles from the 1870's.

The queen bedroom that hosts an old brick fireplace and shutters is adjoined by a beautiful, large modern bathroom with a whirlpool tub, and an open, walk-in shower. Ceramic tiles adorn the floor and walls. The third bedroom is large enough to accommodate two full-size beds, and an armoire with plenty of room to spare. This bedroom in the 1870s was used as a sleeping quarter to catch the cross breezes in the summer time using nine, large windows. It's a joy preserve these beautiful and historical gems.

Beautiful home in great location!!

We really loved this place! The bedrooms were enormous with all the charm & character you could ask for in a New Orleans property. It was very clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect just a few short blocks to the shops & restaurants on Magazine or the Trolley on St. Charles. Thanks Liz we hope to be back again.

Perfect house, perfect girl's weekend!

Five of us met up in NOLA for a college girls reunion! Napoleon House was ideal for our visit. Perfect accommodations, comfortable, cozy and spotless. Close to walk to restaurants and shops. Easy drive to the French Quarter. In anticipation of Hurricane Nate, owners were in touch to make sure the house was prepped and we were fine. Luckily it turned out to be a non-event but we were ready!

We would definitely stay again! Thanks for everything!

And yes, there are lots of restaurants in the area chosen as #1 & #2 favorites amongst the community, all within walking distance. Even if you don't have a car, the streetcar and the buses can quickly get you to the French Quarter.

Loved the property!! Just Perfect!

We had such a great time! This property was everything we hoped for. Check in and check out was seamless. My party of 6 had plenty of room to sleep, shower, hang out and enjoy cocktails. We loved the "old feel" of the place, the architectural details and the upgraded modern amenities made it just perfect. While Napoleon is a busy street, the road noise did not bother us one bit. We especially enjoyed the church bells that rang down the street. It just brought it all together. This place is in a great location for Magazine St. shops and restaurants which is mostly why we picked it. We did not use the easy access to the trolly cars, but we knew it was just minutes away if we wanted to. Uber drivers had no problem finding us and we were a short ride to the French Quarter. The only "bad thing" (which is not even that big of a deal) I can say about the place is the stairs. There are a lot of them. We laughed and joked the entire time about how many steps we were getting on our vacation and how we were working off all the food and drink and that we indulged in. So even though we were all out of breath by the time we walked was good for us! Anyway, it's a super beautiful place and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We would definitely book it again! Thank you for your hospitality!
