Great Location

  • 5 of 5

We walked or took an uber everywhere because this house had the best parking spot in town. Lovely home with plenty or room.

Perfect house, perfect girl's weekend!

  • 5 of 5

Five of us met up in NOLA for a college girls reunion! Napoleon House was ideal for our visit. Perfect accommodations, comfortable, cozy and spotless. Close to walk to restaurants and shops. Easy drive to the French Quarter. In anticipation of Hurricane Nate, owners were in touch to make sure the house was prepped and we were fine. Luckily it turned out to be a non-event but we were ready!

We would definitely stay again! Thanks for everything!

Owner's Response: Thank you for those kind words. These guests were such a delight and I'd be happy to have them come back and stay with us. And yes, there are lots of restaurants in the area chosen as #1 & #2 favorites amongst the community, all within walking distance. Even if you don't have a car, the streetcar and the buses can quickly get you to the French Quarter.

Loved the property!! Just Perfect!

  • 5 of 5

We had such a great time! This property was everything we hoped for. Check in and check out was seamless. My party of 6 had plenty of room to sleep, shower, hang out and enjoy cocktails. We loved the "old feel" of the place, the architectural details and the upgraded modern amenities made it just perfect. While Napoleon is a busy street, the road noise did not bother us one bit. We especially enjoyed the church bells that rang down the street. It just brought it all together. This place is in a great location for Magazine St. shops and restaurants which is mostly why we picked it. We did not use the easy access to the trolly cars, but we knew it was just minutes away if we wanted to. Uber drivers had no problem finding us and we were a short ride to the French Quarter. The only "bad thing" (which is not even that big of a deal) I can say about the place is the stairs. There are a lot of them. We laughed and joked the entire time about how many steps we were getting on our vacation and how we were working off all the food and drink and that we indulged in. So even though we were all out of breath by the time we walked up...it was good for us! Anyway, it's a super beautiful place and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We would definitely book it again! Thank you for your hospitality!

Perfect home in a perfect location

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Napoleon house, everything was perfect. The home is absolutely beautiful and the location cannot be beat. The gated parking behind the home was excellent and not the norm for New Orleans. The location is surrounded by great restaurants and steps away from the trolley. Liz and Mary Jean were the best hosts and made us feel at home away from home. Thanks for everything.

Fantastic location, beautiful house!

  • 5 of 5

I rented the Napoleon house for 7 ladies to experience Mardi Gras from an uptown location. The house exceeded expectations! Mary Jean and Liz were wonderful, accomodating hosts! When I asked about a crockpot, Mary Jean put hers in the kitchen! We bought groceries before arrival which worked out very well, since we never had to use the cars. Parking behind the protective gate greatly eased my mind. Four members of our party had never been to New Orleans for Mardi Gras. This was such a perfect way to introduce them to it. Several are already talking about future trips!

The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, the bathrooms had great hot water in the showers, and the washer/dryer even came in handy! The construction on Napoleon Ave. was not an issue. We were all able to watch the parades from across the street with many of our host's family and friends! Memorable moments that forever will make me smile!

I highly recommend this property and the property owners! Thank you!
