Located at the top of the beach park road, this home is surrounded on two sides by private waterfront. Overlooking mangrove islands, watch as egrets and herons soar gracefully in to fish for their supper, see the fish jump as dolphins come through, observe rays swimming by, or drop a line to try and hook a redfish or snook.
Head out in one of our double kayaks or canoe to view nature up close. Hang out on our new dock and watch gorgeous sunsets over the water; that's what you came to Florida to enjoy!
This is our personal getaway retreat, completely updated and decorated in a 'Tommy Bahama' island style. Our home sleeps 6 privately and comfortably, and is fully furnished and equipped to meet all your needs for fishing, kayaking, biking, enjoying the beach at the end of our road, and relaxing at home with games, video library, books, toys and games for the kids.
Just down the road is the historic New Port Richey river district with beautiful parks, an open ampitheater that features live music, and brand new water play park and covered playground. Lots of great dining options, cafes, theatre, cigar bar and waterfront dining are right downtown. Movies, bowling, laser tag and family game center are all within a 10 minute drive.
The New Port Richey Community Center is just 5 minutes from our house and offers 3 pools, a water slide complex, tennis and basketball courts, indoor gym and basketball center, fitness classes and more. Sun Cruises is just around the corner and the sport fishing and gambling cruise boats.
A short drive south is historical Tarpon Springs - a Greek fishing and sponge diving village; Tampa, Clearwater, Busch Gardens and Adventure Island. A short drive north brings you to Homassassa Springs (amazing canoeing, kayaking and nature walk), Weeki-Wachee, and Silver Springs.
For those who need a Disney or Universal fix, it's about an 80 minute drive across I-4 to all the wonders of Orlando, then you can come back to the peace and quiet of home to relax.

I live in SE Florida with my husband and 3 sons. Born in Scotland, I grew up outside of Chicago and am happy to reside in the sunshine state!! :)
Brenda Alber purchased this house in 2008
We rented in this area 10 years ago and absolutely loved it. It truly is an area of natural beauty and we had a realtor watch for a home for us. Two years later, this property came available and we fell in love with the privacy of the location and the outlook - you truly feel that you are away from it all. The house itself is open and inviting, and after a flood last year, we have completely redone the entire interior, so it is brand new house now. We love it.
You can fish and crab on site or go out to the gulf for shark fishing. We have stayed at many homes in this area but this was a totally unique experience because of the rustic feel of the natural waterway and not another man made canal that is common to this area. I rented a pontoon boat and kept it at the homes dock during our stay ( shallow water creek restricts access to gulf 2 hrs before and after low tide mark ). This is a very quiet area with woods all around and only 1 neighbor. A blue heron will stop by everyday to see if you caught any fish for him. House was very clean and nicely decorated. There were kayaks, bicycles, games and fishing stuff available for your use provided by the owners, who were wonderful to deal with and very accommodating. I hope to stay at their wonderful home again.
Perfect location for birders and water lovers. Kayaks on premises with easy access for exploring the waters. Lovely sunsets. Easy day trips to anywhere in Tampa area and a small beach & park just down the road. Owners are quick to handle unlikely problems. Quiet neighborhood as well. Updated house nicely equipped with all needed supplies.
My family and I had a wonderful experience at Heaven's Way. We found the house clean, comfortable, and very quiet. The availability of kayaks and canoe was terrific and we made use of them daily. If we ever return to the area, we would definitely look to stay here again.
We had such a lovely stay at Heaven’s Way! We definitely agree with the other reviews -- Brenda the owner was very nice, helpful and able to answer any questions. The house was neatly decorated, clean, and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay from kitchen wares and bedding to kayaks and bikes. The kayaks were especially convenient for exploring the backyard waters and easily navigating the general vicinity. The house also has a brand new deck which was perfect for evenings after a day of exploring; we were even able to spot several dolphins from it!
The location was perfect; private enough to be quiet and exclusive, yet convenient enough to allow us to get around to other areas nearby. We took trips to various state parks, Clear Water Beach, and Tarpon Springs Sponge Dock. We went fishing and caught a few fish (redfish, sea trouts, catfish, and black drum).
We had an all-around great stay. We highly recommend this house if you’re planning a stay near New Port Richey, Florida!
We had a great time vacationing in New Port Richey during the week of July 4th 2015, and the house at Heavens Way had everything we needed. We really enjoyed playing pool and having the canoe and kayaks to paddle around the canals. The nearby beaches weren't great, but we drove to Honeymoon Beach in Dunedin (only 45 minutes away) and it had white sand and great surf. The house also included beach chairs so we had everything we needed for a great time on the beach.
We will definitely look to Heavens Way the next time we vacation in Florida! Thank you Brenda for everything.
This was our first adventure to Florida and also renting a house. The property was exactly what we wanted. Private, quiet and comfortable. The yard was along side a lagoon with plenty of water fowl. The schools of fish were amazing and we even saw Dolphins from afar. The back yard barbecue was great after some very busy days. The location was good, because the highways are wonderful - we were close to Busch Gardens, Tarpon Springs and Dunedin. We even went to a Nickleback Concert at the Mid-Florida Ampitheater in Tampa. We would love to return.
