We loved Bridle Ridge Ranch! The house was so accommodating and neat. We loved playing cards at the game table all night long and relaxing in the hot tub. Wimberley is a great place to visit and we really enjoyed our stay!

There is Not one Thing I would change about the property. SPACIOUS, CLEAN, and everything we needed was at our finger tips

Perfect Spot for an Extended Family Getaway!

We stayed at this amazing house for a "family reunion" for my immediate family. It was INCREDIBLE!!! The photos are exceptionally accurate and the views around the house are absolutely tremendous. We couldn't believe we had so much space to ourselves. It was perfect for letting the kids let loose outside without having to worry about bothering neighbors.

When we arrived at the property management office, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They even suggested activities that we might enjoy with the different age groups that were traveling with us. I admit, after seeing the other review, I was a little concerned that there might be an issue but I have to say, everyone we encountered was really great!

The house was perfect when we arrived. It was just like the photos. Everything was clean and neat with no signs of wear (a major pet peeve of mine). Definitely a well maintained home. The space was perfect for our group. Plenty of space to spread out and visit with each other. So many seating areas and the kitchen is an absolute DREAM!

The pool was an important amenity for our family and it didn't disappoint. We spent part of each day just lounging around, it was a great way for us to all reconnect without feeling pressure to entertain ourselves constantly.

I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who needs a lot of room. In fact, we plan to return every year to this property. I can't imagine a better place.

Upon returning our keys to the management office, we were again greeted in such a friendly manner. We plan to come back to Wimberley again this fall for a romantic getaway for just my husband and me and we will definitely book through this company again. They made us feel like our vacation was really a priority and took all the time we needed to make the choice that was best for us. Thank you Hill Country Premier Lodging for helping our family make some incredible memories this summer!!!

Beautiful house and property (5 stars) with very difficult management company (0 stars)

This is a beautiful home that has so much potential! Great location, facilities, bedrooms, kitchen and view. We were very disappointed with the issues we had with how the home was prepared for our arrival, the ongoing response to issues we faced and the additional charges that the mgmt company charged without any warning before they were charged.

1.) Hot tub was not warm upon arrival - took half the trip to heat up

2.) No suitable indoor firewood (this location does not provide firewood)

3.) Bathrooms not stocked

4.) Outdoor sewage alarm kept going off all night and mgmt company response was "its electrical, can't do anything about it" - Solution: Me (in my pjs) turning it off several times in below freezing, rainy weather in the middle of the night

4.) Property trash receptacle was full - mgmt company penalized us financially although the trash had not been taken out prior to our arrival and therefore no room for ours when we left

5.) Handling of damages by children - company refused to use insurance policy I paid for to buy new TV, charged me directly bc i didn't "inform them" - i didn't even know it happened (and they accused us of doing it on purpose) - this clause is not included in your legal contract, it is buried at the bottom of their email and at the bottom of their FAQ page

Advice - read everything on their website, every page and every small detail. There are terms and conditions that are not included or referenced in your contract that you might not be aware of but the mgmt company will make you 100% responsible regardless of the contract you signed or the insurance policy you paid for. They will charge you before you even have a chance to discuss it with them.

Enjoy the stay but be careful and watch out!

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for your review of this beautiful property. We strive to make every guest in a Hill Country Premier Lodging property have the best possible vacation experience. This is why we have 24-hour on call service and are open seven days a week to help guests with any issues that may arise or to answer any questions during their stay. Unfortunately, because of the excessive rain mentioned by the guest, the septic system alarm at this home was an issue - and over a holiday weekend we could not get septic service, which we explained. We rarely charge guests for damage to properties or additional fees for cleaning - as a matter of fact, this was the only instance we did so over the holidays. We make this policy clear in numerous places on our website and in our rental agreement - which does authorize us to charge for damage to the property and anything inside of it as well as excessive cleaning. The advice above, to read the details and every page of the agreement and the property description is accurate because we do want our guests to know these policies before their stay. The first line of the confirmation email we send to all guests states very clearly to read the entire email and the attached rental agreement - which has to be signed and returned before the stay. Our insurance policy is clearly stated in the confirmation email. The policy covers incidental damages that we are notified of. In instances such as this one where an $800 television was deeply scratched in one corner of the screen, we cannot consider it "unintentional damage". We were made aware of the damage within 30 minutes of our housecleaners entering the property along with photos of excessive trash left in the home and on counters, food left out, dishes unwashed, etc. Again, this was the only instance with more than 90 properties booked over the holidays that we charged for damages or additional cleaning. Bridle Ridge is one of our most popular family vacation homes and is often rebooked by guests - we are proud of our reputation and the number of guests who return to all of our properties. As a family run company that prides ourselves on exceptional service, we are sincerely disappointed that this guest was dissatisfied. Hill Country Premier Lodging
