Now about our home downtown:

Located in the middle of downtown Colorado Springs come enjoy our completely renovated turn-of-the-century home just a few minutes walk to downtown, shops, restaurants and fantastic parks and running trails.. Your journey into the past will begin as you come through our original stained glass door. Just beyond the entrance is a living room with a nice 42 inch tv and a sleeper sofa for someone to enjoy if you have a large group. Sit at dining room table and look to the view of the back patio and an open kitchen complete with maple cabinets, quart counter tops and stainless steel appliances. The kitchen opens up to a wonderful back patio with a barbecue and comfy chairs to relax. On the all solid hickory, main floor there is bedroom with a queen bed and its own private attached bathroom with a soaking tub. Up the stairs is a huge master bedroom and a second bedroom. Both rooms have queen beds. The bathroom upstairs has a double vanity,quartz and a custom shower. This house features both wireless and air conditioning.

As a complete remodel,this home really does offer the best of both worlds, 19th century character & 21st century amenities.

We absolutely loved this stay. The owners were great.

This property was excellent for our group. The house was plenty roomy for 8 of us. The owners are great communicators via text, which made for an easy check in/ check out. They did an awesome job remodeling this older house into a modern one. My adult kids loved this place. Great location, well stocked, and easily accessible. Would definitely recommend this, and will definitely stay again.

Note: This is a "close to dowtown" house. Don't let that bother you. It's a #1 with us. I didn't see a guest book, but feel that one would have been nice to write down our experiences to share with others and the owners. Thank you Seth and Paige

Very nicely renovated home in good location

This is a very old house that has been very nicely renovated with good appliances and bathrooms. Decor is attractive and comfortable. We noticed one leg of the chair in LR is askew and we did not use it. 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths for 3 women was ample. Every aspect was comfortable and pleasant. I would recommend stocking a roll of paper towels and pkg of paper napkins. The only problem we had was the front door lockbox. Very difficult to use.

Great, charming house!

We had a great time! The house was very nice and clean. Response from the company was always very promt. We were very comfortable, and felt right at home. The location was unbeatable, and we were able to walk everywhere.

No attention to comfort or detail

The only thing going for this house is location. Otherwise it was a disappointment. I'd seen on a previous review that a renter had commented on the uncomfortable beds, so I called the booking agency. I was told that one of the mattresses had been replaced and that the others were "fine." Not true. Two of the three beds were old and uncomfortable. The pullout couch was so old you could feel the metal coils in the mattress. The blow up bed had no pump or sheets until we called the property manager to deliver them. The barbecue was out of gas and extremely corroded. As for the kitchen, there were only 3 wine glasses, an odd assortment of other glassware and pans, and no serving dishes. The dishwasher hasn't been properly installed so when you open and close the door the unit tilts forward and back. The skylight has been framed in but not completed. Moving on, the furniture in the living room is old and looks dirty. We actually rolled up the rug and put it aside because of its condition. The table and 6 chairs provided are too big for the small corner of the living room where they're placed so actually getting 6 people seated would be uncomfortable. Finally, the house itself is an odd combination of old and partially updated. Work has been done to the kitchen and bathrooms which is helpful but the porch/entry area, backyard, and second upstairs bedroom need work. All in all, I wouldn't stay here again or recommend this property unless a lot of work is done to address comfort and basic amenities.

Great location and home

We were very happy with our stay at this home in Colorado Springs. It was just as described and pictured. It's very conveniently located near the center of town. This is not in a neighborhood street, it is a busier area, but very close to many things. It was comfortable and had all we needed for our stay. Would recommend for those wanting to stay closer to the city.

Sister trip

The house was very cute but unfortunately there were a few things that needed updating. First of all only one tv and no cable. The a/c worked great downstairs but not upstairs. The beds were not very comfortable and there were not enough washcloths and dish towels. In fact I went out and purchased some and left them at the home. Home was in a good location.

About Paige

After Seth had retired from going to three Olympic games, we decided that we had more than sports and a love of fencing in common. Turns out, Seth and I have a passion for homes. We bought this home as a project to work on together after we had already completely remodeled another home. Turns out, taking a home built in 1891 down to the studs is a whole new level of difficult. But, we did it and this home is our labor of love!!We do hope you enjoy our recently finished product!

We loved the house! It was perfect for all of our needs! We were able to cook, watch movies, play the Wii, and play board games. The house was amazing!



Paige and her home were very accommodating. The house was very nice with everything we needed. Everything about the home exceeded our expectations. It is very close to the main downtown area and is central enough for easy access to any of the attractions of the Colorado Springs area.
