Best as a crash pad - a bit too small for hanging out with kids + friends

  • 4 of 5

We booked last minute and agree with other reviews that this house was very clean, beds comfortable, linens quality, and all the basics are here. For families traveling with outdoor sports equipment (e.g. bikes, skis, kayaks), just an obvious call out that this house does not have a garage to store anything and the house does not have a lot of entry way space for boots, helmets, snow play / water play gear to hang to dry when its raining/snowing/cold outside. There are movies, but no games so BYO favorites.

Cozy Home for Our Holiday

  • 5 of 5

This was a very nice and comfortable place for our Holiday getaway. The house was clean, though some of the furnishings and appliances were worn. The lighting in the living room area is very poor, and it is hard to read or play games. The wood burning fireplace with plenty of wood, was so wonderful, as was the hot tub. The hot tub was heated when we arrived, and one day when it was not working, we called and someone was out to fix it in less than an hour (on Christmas Eve!!) This was really the perfect place for the 4 of us, and I would recommend it!

Cozy home

  • 5 of 5

Very cozy place for the Holidays. Wood burning fireplace was wonderful, and there was plenty of wood, though could have used a hatchet to make kindling. The hot tub was nice too. It was heated on arrival, and when it did not work one day we called and someone was out and fixed it within an hour, (on Christmas Eve!) Some of the furnishings and appliances were worn, but had everything we needed and were very comfortable. Poor lighting in the living room at night, but we brought some lamps from other areas to help some. It really was perfect for our stay.

Overall this place was a good place to stay. I wish it had AC and bikes to use though.
