Cross the one-lane bridge to Treasure Island and you're instantly on island time and ready to relax. Although you're still close to town (about a one and a half hour drive from Seattle, and 30+ minutes from both Bremerton and Tacoma), you'll feel a million miles away. This is the perfect destination for a family getaway, ladies weekend, or romantic retreat! We are pet-friendly and family-friendly.
You'll love the unobstructed, waterfront views which you see from the moment you enter the house. The main level of the house includes the living room with wood-burning fireplace, kitchen, dining area, master bedroom and full bath.
The lower level has its own living area complete with TV/DVD combo, couch with full size pullout bed, a private bedroom with two twin beds, a second full bathroom, and outdoor access. The set-up makes for a great stay for families with kids or couples as the 2 levels really provide for your own space!
Relax on the large deck with a drink and your loved ones while watching the sun set from your West-facing view. Play a board game after dinner with your family in front of the fire. Visit one of the state’s remaining Drive In Theatres, located about a 20 minute drive from the house. Go for a walk or run around the island (it loops around, and is about a mile and a half). Dig for clams and cook them outside over the fire pit - or roast marshmallows there. And don't forget to enjoy the waters of the Case Inlet -- boating, swimming, fishing, kayaking and more!
Looking to explore the area? Other things to do:
- GOLF: Lakeland Village, the course at Alderbrook Resort, Trophy Lake (18 holes), and championship courses Gold Mountain (36 holes) and McCormick Woods (18 holes are all within a 30 minute drive.
- HIKE: Checkout the Theler Wetlands in Belfair, or take a 3-mile hike to the Mt. Elinor Trailhead. There are countless trails in the Olympic National Forest.
- WATER ACTIVITIES: Rent a kayak in Allyn, go swimming, dig for clams, rent a fishing pole and gear from Hood Canal Adventures in Union, visit one of the many public access boat launches or beaches for a picnic, swim, or adventure on the beach.
- DAY TRIPS: Spend a relaxing afternoon driving along US Highway 101, checking out the Hood Canal. Make stops along the way to visit Hoodsport Winery, Potlatch State Park, or seafood markets and shops in Lilliwaup and Hoodsport. Visit the High Steel Bridge, 420 feet above the Skykomish River. Other day trips include visiting Port Townsend, Bainbridge Island, Bremerton, Olympia, and of course Seattle.
- MUSEUMS & GALLERIES: Mason County Historical Museum in Shelton, McReavy House in Union, Skokomish Tribal Center and Museum in Skokomish Nation, Harstine Island Gallery in Shelton.

The house has everything you will need for a perfect, stress-free getaway - beach towels, linens, a small but well-equipped kitchen, iPod sound docks, charcoal BBQ, servingware for entertaining, board games, cable TV, wireless internet, and so much more. You'll love the special touches we've included from Pottery Barn furnishings to Henckel cutlery.
Traveling with a large group? The lower levels of our property are perfect for tents. Traveling with kids or pets? We recently installed a gate on the deck to keep little ones and pets from trying out the stairs. We know you'll love our beach house as much as we do!

Originally purchased by our family of 4, we love creating more memories there as our family expands.
The Owner purchased this house in 2000
We originally visited Treasure Island back in the 90's with some friends who have a house on the island. Our family fell in love with the charm of the island and the one lane bridge. When this house came up for sale, we bought it! Having lived in Seattle for many years, it was just the right distance to go for a quick weekend trip, or longer. It's the Northwest area at its best!
Being directly on the waterfront is the best, with easy access for all kinds of water related activities. We have spent many summer days digging for clams right in front of the house, and cooking them right there over the firepit. We love grilling on the charcoal BBQ in the summer, and cuddling up in front of the fireplace in the winter and playing board games.
Thank you so much for the use of your happy home. We had a wonderful time. We left the place clean and left a bottle of wine as a thank you gift. I left instructions for the housekeeper that the dishes are clean in the dishwasher and the first load of laundry is done and in the dryer. I turned the fridge down and the lights off and double checked all the doors and windows and left one outside light on. We were able to kayak to our property heading toward Allyn yesterday, It only took us 1/2 hr. to get there from your place. That was the first time we had seen it seaward. Very special. We really enjoyed all your special touches too.You have made the place very homey. Really we hated to leave. It was wonderful to wake up in that comfy bed and look out the window and see the water and all those seals that were hanging out on the platform so close you could hear them talking to each other was really great especially with the help of the binoculars that you left there for us. It was so quiet and the night was wonderful with the campfire down by the water and the fireplace in the living room all ready with everything needed to start a fire and all the wood you stocked for them came in handy to. It was a relaxing and magical time on Treasure Island! Have a great day and thanks again.
We had a great time, home is beautiful and clean. We stayed for a week and the only negative are the steps down to the beach, we're retired with some knee issues so it was a slow go to take the dog to the beach. Other than that it was good , especially for just the 2 of us.
What a great getaway! Our family loved this charming cabin with all the necessities and comforts of home. The view is amazing, and fire pit is the perfect area to relax after a day on the water. Loved the friendly and fun atmosphere of Treasure Island. So many fun activities over the holiday weekend. Hoping to book it again next year! Thank you!!!
House is in perfect condition with a restful view of the channel. Spent the week enjoying kayaking, clamming (with a few oysters thrown in) and hiking in the Olympics. Neighbors were all friendly. Everyone waves when they drive by.
Host communication was friendly and professional.
Only inconvenience was absence of cell phone service (wifi worked great), but we knew about that before we arrived.
Would happily return.
After our first visit in 2014, my wife and I made a repeat trip to this wonderful home on Treasure Island, but this time sporting our 7-month old daughter. From our first visit, we knew this would be a good place to just kick back, relax, and enjoy time with the family in a warm and comfortable place. Emily was absolutely superb in getting everything prepared for us, and she accommodated our short notice reservation without complaint (even though she had a lot going on in her own world as well). The house had everything we needed: a well-equipped kitchen, nice bedroom linens and bathroom towels, great selection of board games (my wife kicked my a** in Scrabble, for the record), throw blankets for those cooler evenings, great wifi service, etc., etc. All in all, just a great place to hang out.
Will definitely keep in mind for a return visit in 2017.
This place is incredible. We rented it while we were going to the U.S. Open. For 4 grown men there was enough space between inside the house and outside. Emily was great in getting any of my questions answered. We spent most of the nights just enjoying the peace and quiet. No noise from any cars or anybody around us. We certainly expected a nice house upon arrival but pictures did not do this place any justice. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. I can see myself renting this place out again and taking the fiancé with me to soak this in and enjoy the little towns nearby. Thanks again for all of your help Emily. I look forward to renting from you again. Have a great summer :)
