INTRODUCTION

It is early morning and the sun is just beginning to rise. As the warming rays peek over the wall which protects your private pool and patio, you open the wide sliding glass doors to your bedroom and slip easily into the heated spa… no bathing suit is necessary. As you sip your morning coffee and listen to the songs of the local birds, your thoughts are far, far away from the demands of home. You ask yourself, 'Can time stand still?' Indeed why would anyone wish to leave this paradise?

‘The 19th Hole’ is an 1850 sq. foot town-home that has been transformed by its new pool and patio and by its interior renovations with all new furnishings. It is luxurious, private, and serene. You are situated 10 minutes from the airport and from the happenings of downtown Palm Springs.

LIVING ROOM

The living room has soaring cathedral ceilings and circulating fans. Its expansive sliding doors open up onto the pool and patio. It boasts a 10 foot down sofa and 2 down swivel chairs. A 50 inch HDTV sits discreetly on one wall, and on the opposite side of the marble fireplace, a desk is nuzzled in a quiet alcove.

DINING ROOM

An 8 foot Tommy Bahama dining table and 6 arm chairs provide the makings of a perfect evening. Dim the lights of the chandelier and gaze through the fronds of the jacaranda tree watching the lights of the tram on the San Jacinto mountains.

KITCHEN

Whether you choose to cook or not, you will appreciate the flow of the kitchen. The wood cabinets are stocked with all the amenities of home. The granite counters and the top of the line appliances will please the most discerning chef. There is a natural gas Weber barbeque for your use, on the patio, adjacent to the kitchen.

MASTER BEDROOM AND EN SUITE BATHROOM

Lose yourself in the four poster California king bed. It has a brand new pillow top mattress and 500 thread count bedding. Watch the late night news on the 42 inch wall mounted TV. Treat yourself to a bath in the sunken tub of the en suite marble bathroom, admiring the view of your secret garden.

GUEST BEDROOM

Enjoy the separation of 2 twin beds or easily converted king depending on your guests preference. Top of the line pillow top mattresses and 500 thread count sheets are provided for your comfort. Enjoy the early morning rays of sunshine filtering through the attached atrium. The second full en suite bathroom is easily accessible through a pocket door.

POOL AND PATIO

This completely enclosed and private pool forms the crown jewel of ‘The 19th Hole’. This state of the art non-chlorinated pool has a pebble-tec surface that is not only soothing to the skin, but also to the eye. Admire the desert landscaping and watch the hummingbirds drink from the flowers around the perimeter. Sun bathe in the comfortably padded lounge chairs. Enjoy your lunch at a table for six shaded by the overhang extending from both the living room and the master bedroom. Although we are far from retirement, we love to visit our home in Palm Springs every quarter, to recharge and to enjoy the wonderful ambiance our home has to offer.

Why Debra Stockdill chose Palm Springs

Because of our interests, Palm Springs is a natural fit for us. We love the quiet and peacefulness of the community, but also its close proximity to the amenities of downtown Palm Springs. We are challenged by the number of golf courses available for us to play, a number of which are only minutes away by car. Opportunities for hiking and enjoying the outdoors are myriad and many of the best sites are close to Sundance Resort. We like having easy access to the airport. Mostly though, we love the serene ambiance Sundance Resort has to offer.

What makes this townhome unique

Sundance Resort is a low density, quiet community. Each home has its own pool, in an enclosed private yard. Our home backs on to a 7 1/2 acre green space and is rarely used by others. We love to play on the well kept, lighted tennis courts a minute stroll from our home. Each home is large and well designed. After all, it was built for the Dallas Cowboys!

Perfect Trip

We have rented multiple homes on VRBO and have never been disappointed. But without question this home was perfect. First of all the ease in the rental process was flawless. The information provided to us by the owners specific to the home was detailed and simple to follow. The home was in a gated community and close to all the essentials. Everything you could imagine for a vacation could be found in the home.. The pool area was outstanding ,very private , with first rate lounge chairs. If you are looking for relaxation and privacy in a beautiful home look no further!

Great Vacation Getaway

My husband and I just returned from 10 days at the 19th Hole. It exceeded our expectations and was exactly the right size for an extended stay. Upon arrival in Palm Springs we headed to Costco to purchase our beverages - great wine prices and then on to Albertson's for most other items.

We had another couple join for the first part of our stay. We easily converted the twin beds into a king. They both stated that the bed was very comfortable and it was great that they had their own bathroom. We loved the master suite and again the bed was exceptionally comfie. We slept well every night.

We cooked in and ate out. My husband is a big Weber grill fan, so he cooked us filets one night from Costco. On two other occasions we purchased fresh seafood from the Fisherman's market and he grilled lobster one night and halibut another. Our dining out consisted of restaurants both in downtown Palm Springs and across town. Always a favorite for us is Castelli's for great lobster ravioli and veal Parmesan. We also had a good meal at Lulu's, along with pizza from Bill's. The kitchen is well stocked and roomy and it was great to have very comfortable eating areas outside and inside.

I loved that the home had several "nooks" where you could hang out and read. It was spacious enough that even when we had our other guests there you could still get away. And we all spent hours in the pool and the hot tub. I got to catch up on my reading, while my husband enjoyed his golf.

We hope to visit again soon. Thank you for sharing your home.

Beautiful Home!

This was a perfect place to rent in Palm Springs. It was a beautiful home, fully equipped, and offered lots of space for two couples to share. The owner has thoughtfully provided brochures, books and maps of the area which we put to good use. The pool area was a perfect place to hang out after our hikes in the desert! Perfect weather, perfect host, and perfect home.

We were absolutely 100% thrilled with our choice to stay at the 19th Hole. The house was impeccable with lots of space, and the pool and spa area was perfect and private as advertised. We found everything we needed for a comfortable stay and more. My husband and I had a blast pretending we were like royalty with all the luxurious amenities! In addition, it was a joy to do business with Debra, the owner. A perfect host if there ever was one, even from afar!

We had the most delightful two-week stay at "The 19th Hole" ! It's difficult to prioritize the best of the best because everything was superb. Debra and Jim were very accommodating and prompt to respond to any inquiries. Their home should be featured in Architectural Digest: the earth tones of the decor, the very tasteful artwork, the coziness of the furnishings, the attention to detail, and the list goes on. In addition to the elegance of the home, Debra and Jim have stocked so much that you could go to the grocery store once and never leave the solitude of the gated community and the privacy of the non-chlorinated pool and hot tub.

A few recommendations from us: Sherman's Deli and Manhattan in the Desert for those who like NYC deli, Frank's Place featuring Frank DiSalvo for Rat Pack fans (delicious food as well), LuLu's for lunch, Pomme Frite restaurant, ZIN American Cafe, POM restaurant at Fantasy Springs Resort, McCullen Theater , and the Thursday night arts and crafts street festival. The home is so centrally located that some places are within walking distance and most are a short drive away.

We look forward to returning to the 19th Hole and have already recommended the lovely home to many others. Thank you, Debra and Jim, for the wonderful vacation in your lovely home!

Wonderful place!!!

Just returned from a two week stay at this property. This is really beautiful property with great facilities, it has everything you could possibly need and more. All top end furnishings and the bed in the master suite is the most comfortable one I've ever slept in, and that includes my own. The owners are more than helpful and will put themselves out to make sure your stay is perfect. As our stay was over the Christmas/New Year period, Jim & Debra had added a few Christmas decorations around the house - a lovely touch, we thought
