Located in the beautiful resort of Waikoloa Beach near Marriot and the Hilton hotel in the Kohala Coast is a beautifully furnished 2 bedroom condo with 2 full bathrooms along with a 2nd level loft that can serve as the 3rd bedroom if necessary. The condo overlooks the main pool, Queens Market and offers a peak a boo look into A-Bay, but yet is far enough away for quiet enjoyment of a morning and or afternoon at home and affords all the comfort and roominess of a larger unit. With King bed in the Master bedroom, a Queen bed in the 2nd bedroom, and then a Queen sofa sleeper with a gel mattress and additional mattress pad for added comfort and or two twin European sleepers which are all located in the loft, this condo can comfortably sleep six. Complete with wi-fi, four flat screen televisions, DVD players, and iDocks in each bedroom along with the living room area. The main living area features a 47' flat screen smart TV along with Blue-Ray player and wifi connection to your own subscribed Netflix and or other preferred online services.

With its own barbecue on the lanai, you can BBQ dinner while either watching the children swim down below at the pool or enjoying a beautiful sunset on the lanai. Also included is a fully equipped kitchen, stainless appliances, granite counter tops, and all the tools you need to prepare all your meals. You will find that this condo affords all the comforts of home with the added advantage of being surrounded in Paradise!

Nicely furnished with a great furniture, bedding, towels, service for 8 in dinnerware, flatware, etc., with each item carefully chosen to for your ultimate enjoyment. The loft affords a comfy hideaway for children, teens and or adults, with twin European loungers that can either serve as a nice seating area, while also comfortably converting into two twin beds if necessary. Additionally there is a fold out Queen bed provided in the sofa sleeper should you opt to sleep in a larger sized bed for couples or smaller children. All linens provided in the loft are conveniently provided for in a storage trunk that doubles as a coffee table for self-contained convenience. Additionally the unit features a stack-able washer/dryer in closet near the kitchen area for all necessary cleaning of clothing and towels during your stay. The open floor plan is perfectly located for enjoying the pool and spa as well as its convenient walking distance location to either the Queens and Kings Markets, with all of there amenities and or to major attractions an hotels such as the Marriot and Hilton

Just 20 minutes from Kona International Airport, Waikoloa Beach Resort is surrounded by the beautiful beaches of 'Anaeho'omalu Bay where you can soak in the sun and enjoy a variety of ocean activities including snorkeling, sailing, and scuba diving! The King's Shops and newly opened Queen's Marketplace provide premier shopping that includes everything from high-end boutiques and one-of-a-kind jewelry to art galleries and activity centers to designer wear and spectacular gifts. Several dining facilities and upscale restaurants round out the area within the Kings Shops and Queen's Marketplace and include, Roy's Waikoloa Bar and Grill, Merriman's Cafe, Romano's Macaroni Grill, Charley's Thai Cuisine, Sansei Seafood Restaurant and Sushi Bar. The Queens Market brings a brand new gourmet marketplace enabling great meals and wine while in the comfort of your condominium. Also at the Queens Shopping center is the Food Court with many other fine places to eat such as Subway, Lemongrass, Ippys, Hawaiian Fish and Chips Paradise Pizza and Grill, Dairy Queen, Marble Slab Creamery and yes there is even a Starbucks!!! If you are up to it, you can take1/2 mile walk to the Marriot or a longer 1 mile walk to the Hilton to enjoy ocean front dining at either hotel or see the dolphins a that Hilton in the morning. Across from the Hilton is Tropics Ale House, a restaurant featuring a local menu along with great island brews and plenty of seating for large or small parties or to catch up on your local sports team. Lastly there is the newly opened Lava Lava club for dining on the beach at A-Bay or have a island cocktail at sunset.

Enjoy the serenity of A-Bay while at the condo or several of the Islands wonderful beaches. There are many beaches to choose from and the condo does offer a guide book for you to choose, some of the favorites of the locals are Pines and Makuna Bay to the south of the condo or towards the airport or you can head north from the condo and enjoy the pristine white sands of Hapuna Beach, or the rocks, trees, and safe entry spots of nearby 'Beach 69' (at mile marker 69).

The villa is equipped with everything you need for a day at the beach. (Beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella, boogie boards, cooler etc.)

Why Gunnar Bredek chose Kohala Coast

My family choose this location due to its serenity and proxiamity to all things hawaii. After first visiting this complex in 2007, we found that year after year we keep compaing our visits to the other islands to the Big Island and the Big Island experience hands down was always the best one for us. So we decided to purchase our Condo in February 2011 and have no regrets doing it. We love our Condo and Waikoloa and can't wait to get back there each time we leave.

What makes this condo unique

There are some many to describe. We love going to A-Bay for peaceful walks to view the many turles and to enjoy the bay. We paddle board and kayak and you can find both these items available for rent right out of the Marriot at Ocean Sports. We enjoy the many snorkilng areas around Kona and the restaurants with their fabulous views. But what we enjoy the most is swimming in the pool at the end of another wonderful day at the beach and grilling dinner on the lanai watching the sunset over A-Bay.

Great family condo with Pokeman Go hunting!

The condo was a great base camp for our vacation.

The condo is close enough to walk to local beaches, restaurants, and the King's Highway foot trail. After a good walk, we would relax in one of the 2 condo swimming pools. The condo is also centrally located for day trips to zip lining, snorkeling with manta rays, captain cook's memorial and volcano national park.

For families with kids - the area is surrounded by Pokeman. Pokeman can be found in the condo, the complex and just about everywhere. There is a Pokeman gym at the shops next door (not exactly sure what that is - but my son was very excited by it).

There was a minor glitch with the wifi. Gunnar and his local representative were extremely responsive until a solution was found.

We will happily stay here again on our next trip to the big island.

Spacious vacation rental

We really enjoyed our stay here! We vacationed with our friends and their child and this condo fit our needs perfectly. There was plenty of room, and we all felt like we had our own space and it never felt crowded.

The beds were super comfy, we were pleased with the amount of towels, and the beach stuff was awesome and got plenty of use. We loved spending time on the lanai and using the outdoor grill. We loved that it overlooked the pool and never felt bothered by any pool noise.

I had to email the owner a couple of times and he was very quick to respond. We would definitely stay here again if we travel back to the big island!

FANTASTIC FAMILY CONDO

Our month long stay was great. The condo was clean and comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped. We grilled out on the lanai many times a week, but also walked to some great restaurants...Sansei Sushi and Steakhouse, Roy's, Three Fat Pigs, the restaurants at the Hilton and lets not forget about the Lava Lava club. The location of the condo was perfect. First of all, if you needed something quick the Queen's Marketplace, which also offered a Starbucks, was just across the street. Then we had quick trips to several beaches including Hapuna, Mile Marker 69 beach, the beach by the Four Seasons, Mauna Kea was beautiful and Kahaluu Beach Park. Actually, we learned that all beaches are public, that means that all the resorts offer a public access to the beach. And we enjoyed the beaches because the condo had such great beach supplies: umbrellas, chairs, towels, boogie boards, etc. The washer and dryer definitely came in handy on these days. The drive to Hilo and the volcano was a good day-trip on Saddle Road. The Mauna Kea observatory is along the way but you need a four wheeler to get to the top. I think somebody said that the big island has eleven of the thirteen ecological zones. That became very apparent as you travel to different areas of the island. I had some concerns initially, but I contacted the owner, and he resolved the issues. All in all, we had a wonderful vacation and I would enthusiastically recommend this property to others.

Lovely stay

We had a terrific stay at the condo. It's very spacious, comfortable, and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The lanai was perfect and we grilled out just about every night. Having the pool right there was great for the kids and wasn't noisy or disruptive.

The location was great for various day trips all over the island, and just a quick drive to our favorite Beach 69. Having the shopping center a quick walk across the street was also very handy.

We had the Waikoloa trade winds blowing every day and we didn't need the AC at all. There is great air flow between the windows and ceiling fans.

Amazing Condo!

We spent 11 nights at this amazing condo! It is well maintained, clean and is well stocked with kitchen utensils, plates and anything you could want for preparing meals. We loved having an onsite BBQ and we ate all meals on the lanai enjoying the pool view. The condo is well situated to the King and Queen's markets, making it close for meals out and shopping. The complex is quiet, very family friendly and the grounds are gorgeous. There was an amazing beach about a 10 minute walk away. We will definitely return!
