Brand new designer kitchen remodel and bathroom upgrades completed October 2012! Located directly across the street from White Sands beach this spacious 2 bedroom 2 bath unit is only a quick walk away from all the ocean activities! Beautiful new kitchen comes fully equipped with all new appliances upgraded granite countertops and custom cabinetry. Tiled main living area with tropical decor offers indoor dinning table, large flat screen TV and entertainment center and central A/C. Both bathrooms have upgraded granite counters, vanity areas with custom cabinetry - guest bathroom includes a shower/tub combo, the master bath has a large walk in shower and also included is the washer and dryer. Queen sized bed the master and two twin beds offered in the large guest room both with plenty of closet space of longer stays. Situated over the pool area guests will no doubt enjoy the expansive comfortable lanai with beautiful ocean views, a perfect place to sit and enjoy outdoor dining or relaxing on that well deserved getaway.<p>1 week minimum during Christmas/New Year holiday and Ironman. Rate slightly higher as well. Disclaimer: Unit is professionally treated by pest control on a quarterly bases. There is the possibility that one may have to vacate the premises for 2 hours in the event that treatment is done. Refusal of this service is not an option.

Great Condo in an Awesome Location

Another great stay at the White Sands Village. We've stayed at the village in the past and our first time in this unit was great. The condo was clean and comfortable and had nearly everything we could have wanted. If you're looking for a great and affordable place to stay look no further. The outdoor facilities are a big added bonus, between the warm pool and the pool table many good times were had. The outside grills were great for keeping food costs down.

Big Island is not know for its beaches, and White Sand is one of the few gems where you can wade out to the surf.

Loved it

We loved our time in white sands village. Right across the street from the iconic magic sands beach and convenient location for restaurants and shops. Very spacious two bedrooms and came with everything we needed including washer and dryer, kitchenware, and some equipment for the beach (bodyboards etc). Will definitely stay here again next time we visit the big island.

Dated yet workable

cons- nighttime cockroaches buzzing everyone at the elevator, heavy and hard to open and close lanai patio doors,

dated bathrooms, lanai needs powerwash, lanai railing is wood topped, it is loose and rotted, requires attention, sketchy AC at first, needed to go out and purchase a few foil pans, steak knives and a pizza cutter, also a beach umbrella from Costco, all left in condo for future users, shopping and restaurants are not within walking distance but close enough by car, busy road across the front along the beach and no real sidewalk to walk on safely.Beach is very busy so get there early or travel up the highway. Return trip on highway is marred with traffic jams as they have been twinning this road for 5 years and are still not through.

Pros- Bug Spray for elevator area, no bugs in condo at all.Lanai is very spacious with table and chairs, lounge chairs and a rickety ceiling fan. View from condo is excellent and one can listen to the surf crash whilst overlooking perfectly maintained garden area, with decent pool and marvelous covered BBQ area, with an ice maker no doubt. Plenty of pool loungers but again, get there early. AC in condo, was down first day, 87 degrees inside , was cooler outside. Prompt attention by management and resolved quickly, AC was great throughout the rest of the stay.fridge with working icemaker, coffemaker with melted heating element, worked fine, toaster, oven, dishwasher , microwave, all worked well. 2 baths . one with shower, 1 with tub, laundry pair worked great.Big screen TVs with satelite in all three rooms and an assortment of games and books for everyone. Condo was very clean on arrival and departure. some necessities like dishsoap, toilet paper were only stocked for first two days, par for the course. All big box stores including costco close by with car. The pros outweigh the cons and I would consider this condo again because of proximity to beach and prompt attentiveness of management. Silicone grease would go a long way to easing the force required to move the patio doors.

White Sands Village Perfect Vacation for family

Our family of four had a wonderful stay at White Sands Village. Across the street from a great little beach Magic Sands. Luckily there was sand every day that we were there. This Condo complex is clean, organized and safe. We had a wonderful time!

great location

Greatest location on the island as far as I am concerned. A one minute to my favorite beach, 3 minute drive to Kona, and 3 minute drive to an excellent shopping center. Highly recommended. The unit itself is clean and comfortable but showed a little neglect. Shower door is missing handles on the inside so you don't want to close the door all the way. Makes it difficult to get out. :) Beds were okay but not fantastic. Otherwise a great place to stay.
