About Beverly Carlson

We have always wanted to live on a lake with beach front property and after several years of searching for the perfect property, we found this peace of paradise.

Beverly Carlson purchased this house in 2012

Why Beverly Carlson chose Seneca Lake

So many reasons, the quietness of the neighbor, the quality of the surrounding homes, the flatness of the property, the great big huge trees for shade, the crystal clear water and the wonderful wineries and restaurants.

What makes this house unique

Many unique attractions in the area and the closenes to grocery stores and shopping plazas.

Right on the lake!!

This adorable home is right on the lake! The closed in patio on the back has the most amazing view! Great location for hitting all of the breweries and wineries. Couldn't ask for more!

A little slice of heaven

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I spent a glorious week in this quaint house right on Seneca Lake. We booked it because of the paddle boat (which we used almost every day), but fell in love with the fire pit right on the beach (which we used every night). Many locals sell fire wood, so it was easy to stock up on wood. The house was super clean and BEAUTIFULLY decorated. It really felt like home. We loved how the large living room opened up right into the sun room, with the wonderful views of Seneca Lake. We ate all of our meals in the sun room and especially loved the ducks we saw daily while eating. The kitchen was VERY well stocked, and even though small, was laid out very efficiently and make cooking our meals very easy. A large pantry area allowed us to store lots of food and still have more room to spare. Having a washer and dryer was also very nice when vacationing for a week. The bathroom looked like something you would see on HGTV - great use of space and so beautiful. There is a second bedroom (which we did not use) that had sleeping for 3 or 4 kids, but as this house only has one bathroom, would only recommend this house for a couple or small family. We loved how quiet and peaceful the neighborhood was and its close proximity to several local wineries and the Sampson State Park. The wifi worked very well in the house, as well as outside on the side lawn. HIGHLY recommend this vacation house rental - a great place to have a relaxing vacation.

Cottage was exactly as described and pictured.

  • 5 of 5

This was a wonderful vacation location. Beverly Carlson was a joy to deal with, all amenities described were available to use. Beverly answered all of my questions immediately. Cottage was clean and in pristine condition. Nothing was needed to purchase for use except your food. I can't recommend this rental enough. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Lovely home in a beautiful spot

  • 5 of 5

Had a great week in this beautiful home in a lovely location! Since it's right on the shore in a quiet, friendly neighborhood, we spent most of our time outside enjoying the view and the ever- changing conditions on the lake. In addition, there is plenty to do in the area. The house, particularly the kitchen and bathroom, were clean and well stocked. We enjoyed and hope to return!

Wonderful property

  • 5 of 5

My two sons and I stayed here with my mom and dad and we had a wonderful time. The house was clean and right on the lake in a nice, quiet neighborhood with space for my boys to play catch. The lake was right outside the back door and the swimming area was the perfect depth for my kids. We loved the paddle boat and the sunsets were amazing. Every night, it seemed the sunset was better than the previous evening. We enjoyed day trips to Watkins Glen State Park, Ithaca, Seneca Falls and to the local farm stands for produce but the house was so nice we mostly stayed there and enjoyed the water. I would highly recommend this property. Thanks Beverly for a truly enjoyable week, I hope to be back.

Wonderful Stay at Immaculate Lake Front House

  • 5 of 5

We had an awesome 3 day girls weekend at this lake front house. The house was immaculate and accommodated our group of 5 perfectly. We visited several of the local wineries and distilleries and also hiked Watkins Glen. This was a great central location. This was our first trip to the area but not our last. I would not hesitate to rent this house again with friends or for a family getaway. The owner was quick to respond to my inquiries and provided recommendations. Thanks Beverly!
