ONE OF INCLINE'S BEST NEIGHBORHOODS

We believe this is one of the best neighborhoods in Incline Village. It’s quiet, mid-elevation, terrific neighbors, lots of privacy, easy access to town but yet not in the middle of town’s hustle and bustle. Walk or snowshoe just three houses down and you’ll find yourself in 28k acres of Toiyabe National Forest! Yes, we have wild beasts that occasionally roam our neighborhood

We have two children who grew up spending warm summers and snowbound winter holidays here.

About Mike

As a salesperson I travel so this creates opportunity for others to share my home while I'm away. Growing up in San Francisco, I spent my summers at Russian River, Clear Lake and Santa Cruz. I don’t regret any of those experiences BUT Lake Tahoe, with all of the beauty and boundless activities... it can't be beat!

I enjoy snowboarding with my daughters, kayaking, swimming and even lake surfing (Sept to March – yes it is cold). I own a Vizsla named Mara, a Hungarian pointer, who absolutely loves Tahoe. I am an amateur radio nut and at 7k’ elevation I seem to always have good propagation. I also enjoy shooting and use the excellent public range in Carson where my daughter and I target practice with our rifles. If I didn’t have to work for a living… I’d be busy doing stuff all day long here!

Mike purchased this house in 2003

Why Mike chose Lake Tahoe Area

Incline Village, Lake Tahoe, is just 3 hours from Marin County or 3.5 hours from San Francisco. I can surf and snowboard in the same day!

The town offers private beaches, limited development, unlimited activities and is a perfect place for kids! I’ve been fortunate to have traveled around the world and visit some of the most beautiful places on Earth only to find that Lake Tahoe is one such place and its right in my own backyard.

What makes this house unique

If you like sun... this is the place. We have sun nearly every day! Quiet? My neighborhood is one of the finest in Lake Tahoe and with the open, wooded lot off my deck and the large trees around the property it creates a sense of privacy. My home in the winter, with the wood burning fireplace roaring, is as cozy as it gets. I love the fact I am so centrally located.

Guestbook comments from the owner

This is my 2nd stay. My kids swim in for a CA team and we attend the Carson City Intermountain Classic meet. We use this home as our base. It’s a 22 mile drive each way but it allows us to relax in a mountain/lake home for less money than it would cost to stay in a Carson City hotel! And look what we get! 4 adults and 3 kids and I highly recommend it.

Great house and location!

The house, amenities, and location were great. Mike was very helpful in making the arrangements, and hopefully the house will be available again my next trip to Tahoe.

The property is lovely. The house is well maintained and is conveniently located.

  • 4 of 5

My husband, sons and I enjoyed our stay. The house is lovely and conveniently located to Incline Village and King's Beach. The owner, Mike, provided us with access to the Incline Village beaches and was helpful and easy to work with. The house had what we needed to enjoy our long weekend in fabulous Tahoe. It was a great weekend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your comfortable home!

  • 5 of 5

Thank you, Mike, for being so responsive and helpful. You are a pleasure to work with. Thank you also for the beach tips. It was so nice to have access to the private beaches. Burnt Cedar beach was perfect for the kids who had a great time catching crawdads. We can't wait to return, and to refer our friends to you. Thank you for everything!

Good house, great location

  • 4 of 5

Good house, great location but a little TLC and could be great house. The kitchen and accessories was adequate and the exterior deck was nice but really needed new coat of paint and some deck furniture. The convenience of getting in and out was really nice, but the house really needed some sceens on the windows and back door so they could be left open without insects getting in. Also the loft master bedroom needed some type of door for privacy from the other rooms. Was nice to have washer and dryer in location that could be running at night. Overall would stay here again!

Such a great value in Incline Village!

  • 5 of 5

This home was the perfect base for our family this week! We got up each morning, packed the cooler, headed out to a new beach each day, then came back, showered, cooked dinner and went to bed. The home was comfortable, clean, and spacious, and the best deal in Incline Village! Mike was also very accommodating when we realized we had a calendar conflict, so we were able to go the week prior. Thank you Mike, for sharing your home!

Great home for families!

  • 4 of 5

We had a wonderful time! House had everything we needed. Good base of kitchen items, board games for kids, indoor and outdoor space was perfect for our larger family, neighborhood was safe and great for walking/running (hills and some flats). While we didn't bring our dog on this trip, it was pet-friendly and would definitely consider bringing our dog in the future. Only minor concern is we never figured out how to work the air conditioning and there were no screens on the windows, so it was a bit warm in the evenings/night as we didn't want any critters or animals coming through the windows at night.

The owner was extremely communicative / helpful in answering any questions we had.

Would definitely plan to come back! Thanks!
