About Craig Lyon
While still in high school, I designed and built my first vacation home on Cape Cod. Later in University, I studied architectural preservation, with an emphasis on Cape Cod's famous Shingle Style home. In the early 90's, I began designing and building some of Cape Cod's most iconic homes in this style. Since, my travels around the world have inspired me to fuse the traditional Cape Cod style with subtle international influences and inspirations. My design personality takes advantage of this global perspective to include the finest comforts from all corners of the world. It has become my passion to find clever ways to subtly incorporate these finer influences into the warm and cozy style original to the Cape. Having rented my homes since 1992, I take very seriously my guests' experience. For example, Ocean House in Provincetown (HA 122422) is one of the most loved rental homes on the outer Cape. I am so excited to now open Harbor House, my newest home, for reservation. Don't wait, be one of the first to make your reservation and enjoy the art of living inside this wonderfully beautiful home.

After bike riding or jogging to Woods Hole and back, everybody enjoys a soak in the spa.
Harbor House is Heaven!
Beyond Amazing - Great layout, professional appliances, high end finishes
Every two years my husband and I arrange to rent a house for my parents, siblings, and their kids for a family reunion. The layout of the Falmouth house was outstanding. Every couple/adult kid had their own space.
The kitchen will make the your gourmet chef happy; All-Clad pots/pans, SHARP knives, professional gas range , 3 distinct areas for food prep, dishwasher, a large pantry to store all the food you buy in one place, a gigantic 'fridge, etc., There's even a high-end Weber grill out side, as well as brand new patio furniture.
There are two main floor living areas with tvs. It gave my mom the opportunity to binge watch her Hallmark channel while the rest of us enjoyed movies and sports in the other room.
The 4 spacious bathrooms have gorgeous travertine showers that look like they popped right out of a Luxe or Architectural Digest magazine. Soaps and shampoo are provided.
The 1st floor Master with on-suite bath, officially referred to as the Crews Mess, was perfect for my mom who is not a fan of stairs. My Dad loved the big desk for both working and folding laundry.
The upstairs Captain's Quarters and 1st Mate's bedrooms with full on-suites were dreamlike with their views of the harbor and deck areas.
My niece, nephew, and brother enjoyed their 3 spacious, private bedrooms with shared bath. My brother turned the bar/breakfast nook area into his architectural design studio for the week as this was a working vacation for him.
The weather was highly changeable during our stay with heavy rains one day and sunshine the next. The covered, water-facing porch was absolutely delightful for escaping strong sunshine as well as storm watching. It was the perfect place for us to enter/exit the house as it provided lots of seating and a place to remove/dry wet shoes, bicycle cleats, and jackets.
There's a secure shed for bike storage and an outdoor shower which we used before getting in the hot tub. I loved it after getting soaked in a downpour on one morning run.
There's all the other cool stuff like the bike trail being only a block and a half away, a fantastic market with proper butcher within an 8 minute walk, the fact that you are waterfront and don't need to go to the beach (and fight crowds/parking/hauling that cooler.), etc.,
We'll be looking forward to our next family retreat at one of Craig's properties 2 years from now.
Wonderful property, beautiful location
We enjoyed our trip to the cape immensely! The property is well appointed, well maintained, and in a beautiful and convenient location. There was more than enough space for our large group to spread out. The bedrooms are comfortable and well decorated. Overall we had a great time and can’t wait to return
Clean and Spacious Home
All my guess were impressed by the cleanliness, decor and convenience. The house comes with every kitchen utensil you need to cook a nice dinner. Every single space, kitchen appliance was immaculate!!
Falmouth's unique appeal blooms from its rich setting, important colonial heritage, and passionate protection of its abundant natural treasures. Paired with a refined taste for leisure, relaxation, and entertainment, and the natural beauty of world-famous islands, beaches, and waters, there is no better place to shed every care and become a Cape Cod beachbum.
