About the property

Come up a few steps exterior staircase to enter into a bright, clean top unit dwelling. There are marble floors and carpets. There are 2 large bedrooms + den (3rd bed,Fullsize). 1.5 bath; spacious living room, formal dining room and gourmet kitchen are all on the same level, accounts for about 1600 square feet.

View from living room and dining room. You can see the beautiful sunset and Pacific Ocean from the bedroom and bathroom. Full kitchen. Guests have exclusive access to the entire top unit. We live in the lower unit, and have it own entrance, so that we will not be in your space during your stay. You can be sure to stay confident with us.

Located in one of the top San Francisco expensive, beautiful, safe and quiet neighborhoods with many expensive houses around the neighborhood. One car parking in front of the driveway(no oil leak) and plenty of free easy street parking.(watch for street cleaning date/time)

Getting around. One block is the 43 bus which takes you to City College and Balboa Bart station in one way. The other way takes you by Forest Hill Station where you can take the muni/metro to downtown. It also passes by the UCSF medical center on Parnasssus. The Haight/Ashbury and to Marina District. 10 minute walk through nice scenery to West Portal village where there is a lot of restaurants, coffee shops, a movie theater, grocery stores, banks and metro muni that will take you to downtown, Mission, Castro, Civic Center.

The house was clean, the sheets on the beds were very nice, which are both very important to me. I've stayed in places where things were broken, the carpets were filthy, and the sheets were very low quality, and had piled a lot which makes me uncomfortable. You could tell the owner cared about the property. I am very picky, and I would stay there again if I needed to.

Not the most thoughtful hosts

The house itself was spacious with an incredible view.

BUT--No AC meant that we returned each evening to 90+ degrees.

We were each given 1 large, 1 medium and 1 small towel for a 5-day stay. The dishes in the kitchen were paper and there was no laundering facility. The garbage disposal spewed garbage from the other side of the sink.

We had inadvertently left some lights on during one day and received an angry late-night visit from the owners who reside downstairs.

I have always had good experiences with VRBO--this was not one.

Owner's Response: This is a bias review from dishonest (lie) guest ,he makes up, exaggerating things ,irresponsible, not responding text after check in. He left fan /lights running on all days without stopping with no one home (not safe ).you can see more reliable review from other previous guests .I do not recommend hosting for this guest. Thank you.

Great stay!

My parents and my in-laws had a wonderful stay at the house. They were so impressed by how nice everything was and they were so happy to have a place to rent so close to my family in West Portal. They are excited to come back and rent this home again. Thanks for a great stay!

Big and excellent place

Excelente apartamento de 3 dormitorios. Muy amplio. Todo en muy buen estado. Muy buenas camas, toallas, etc. Muy buena zona. Comentarios: no dispone de lavavajillas (extraño en usa), debe arreglarse la instalación eléctrica ya que por indicación del propietario no se pueden utilizar horno y microondas a la vez, además permanentemente la tensión sube y baja. Fuera de esto, el lugar es ideal.
