Comfy Rental In A Neighborhood That Has Kept Its Old World Charm With The New!
- english, Tagalog, some Spanish
I am a career corporate finance professional and a life-long Chicagoan and resident of the Lincoln Square neighborhood. My wife is an attorney and we have two lovely children, ages 15 and 7. We collect art and greatly enjoy world travel.
Virgil purchased this Apartment in 1910
Why Virgil chose Lincoln Square
This 2-BR rental unit is in a beautiful brick two-flat that's quintessential Chicago and conveniently located near transportation, a great park, shopping, fine restaurants, pubs, cafes, quaint little shops and the Old Town School of Music that has hosted acclaimed musicians from all over the world. The neighborhood has everything to offer for all ages and backgrounds - playground for kids, art fairs and festivals for the entire family, wine-tasting for oenophiles, spa for the ladies, sports bars, a big park to walk/jog in, and many more. Next door is the newly opened Grand Tour Restaurant that features cuisines from different countries every month. Around the corner is Lutz Continental Cafe and Pastry, a Chicago institution that draws visitors from all over the city. The property is in a quiet, tree-lined block that is easy to get to and from many other points of interests in the city.

The property has a quiet, comfortable casualness suited for two couples, group of friends or a family with children visiting Chicago. One of the best values we've experienced in VRBO.
This Property Is Located In The Lincoln Square Neighborhood Of Chicago, A Quaint Section Of The City's North Side That Was Mostly Settled By German Immigrants At The Turn Of The Century, But Has Since Evolved Into A True Melting Pot Of Cultures While Managing To Keep Its Old World Charm And Unique Character. Unlike Many Parts Of The City's North Side That Are Mostly Populated By Young And Single Residents, Lincoln Square Has Managed To Keep A Balanced Demographic That Makes The Neighborhood An Attractive Destination For Singles And Families Alike, And Anyone Else Looking For An Old Neighborhood Feel While Also Enjoying A Taste Of The City Life. The Property Itself Is Close To Public Transportation To Get To Downtown And Other Points Of Interests In The City. Street And Private Parking Being Somewhat Prohibitive, Taking The 20-Minute Train Ride To The Downtown Area Would Be Good Alternative To Driving.
Lincoln Square Has Everything To Offer For All Ages And Preferences - Playground For Kids, Art Fairs And Festivals For The Entire Family, Wine-tasting For Oenophiles, Fitness Training, Spa, Cooking Classes, Music Venues, Among Other Interests. Next Door To The Property Is The Newly Opened Grand Tour Restaurant That Features Cuisines From Different Countries Every Month. Steps Away Is Lutz Bakery, A Chicago Pastry Favorite That Draws Visitors From All Over The City.
