As the pictures show, it has a unique location with the best of 3 worlds: Gulf, sound & National seashore. gulf view from guest bedroom, kitchen & front door, and access to private residential beach on Gulf 100 yards across Fort Pickens rd. Your backyard adjoins the unspoiled sugar white sand of the Gulf Islands National Seashore. Since it is the last complex on the island, you are away from the traffic, chaos and crowded beaches. The special location of this waterfront complex allows you to enjoy from both of your waterfront balconies: the Blue Angels flying overhead for their weekly, seasonal practices, dolphins and sea turtles playing in the emerald blue salt water sound & the sound of the salt waver waves breaking on your private beach. An additional bonus of your salt water sound access is that you can enjoy it safely during times when the Gulf is experiencing unpredictable dangerous riptides, therefore no interruption to your vacation enjoyment! This unit has plenty of room for guests to spread out: 2 large bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, one with a Jacuzzi tub, 4 large storage closets, large equipped kitchen & wet bar with ample counter space and plenty of cabinets, 3 separate eating areas: counter bar with stools, table which expands to seat 8 & an additional pub style with seating for 4, open living room & additional waterfront glass atrium living/dining/relaxing space.

Unit 112 accommodates 6: King bed in master bedroom, 2nd bedroom has bunk beds which includes one Full bed & 2 separate twin beds as pictured.

This unit includes for your convenience beach chairs, boogie boards , ocean & pool floats, sand toys, small fish nets, pool noodles, & a waterfront swimming pool with a gazebo.

Unit 112 is easily accessible on the first floor by an elevator or a short flight of stairs and consists of one flat level of living, with no stairs to navigate or impede mobility inside the condominium. The Palm Beach Club is not a high rise & is a gated, code accessed only, secure facility with maintenance and property management on site to ensure a worry free vacation.

Perfect Location-will stay again!

Truly a beach location, made this our best vacation-Since you are literally surrounded by 3 beaches, it is very easy to either enjoy the gulf waves, or the calmer sound waves or the natural gulf islands beach in just a few steps. It's obvious the owners care about this unit as it has been recently updated, is modern, clean and I could see sand and ocean from every window:) We will definitely return.

Worth every penny!! Water view from every window!!

Our family loved this condominium and location so much that we have already reserved our june vacation again at Unit 112. My favorite time of the vacation was sitting on one of the two private balconies which overlook the sandy beach. I could actually sit on these balconies, read my book and enjoy my coffee in the morning while watching my children play on the beach or in the water. We were so close to the beach, that my children could easily talk to me from where they were playing in the water. My family loved the guest room since they could see the beautiful emerald Gulf of Mexico right out the window. Surprisingly, this condominium comes with a property manager company /guest services where you can actually reach a live human being at any time of the day or night. We had a light bulb go out in the master bedroom and they replaced it within the hour. They also checked on us throughout the trip and provided us discount coupons to local dining and entertainment. We enjoyed how new the furniture and decorations were with everything being coordinated and matching, making us feel like we were in a real home, not just pieces of mismatched furniture that you find in most rental units. I also loved the modern appliances which included a filtered water & ice cube dispenser on the refrigerator. We felt like we were on our own island since this condominium was the last one on the end of the island and we didn't have any traffic or crowds to deal with. The one downfall is that the Palm Beach club complex does not allow renters to have pets, I guess that is why not only the unit, but the grounds and the beaches are still so beautiful and clean. Another positive of this unit is the security monitored storage available right below your unit, protected from the weather, and you don't have to drag your beach gear back to your condo every day, decreasing the sand dragged in.

Relaxing & Comfortable

We were very impressed with the brand new condition of the furniture in this condominium. The kitchen was very modern ( I think IKEA), and more efficient than any condo I have ever stayed in-there was even a filtered water dispenser on the refrigerator!

the location is wonderful-this west end of the island is just a mile away from the busy boardwalk & the beaches are not crowded here. Great place for couples/adults or families as children have 3 areas to play in with the Sound being right out your decks & you can see the gulf of mexico from the front door and reach it in about a min!

I loved the 24 hr guest services provided-they checked on us when we entered, and it was nice to have an actual human being on the phone whenever we called for advice on places to dine or how to use our coupons for the parasailing.

Overall, excellent vacation place, we will stay again & appreciate the coffee filters & reading library provided for guests.

Not as good an experience as I had hoped.

I rented this condo for a month. When I arrived at the condo, the unit was not cleaned well – kitchen counters and stove top had hardened food on them, trash container was dirty and the floors had sand/dirt that had not been swept up. The washing machine door seal was disgusting as it had a huge amount of gunk inside it. Considering there was a cleaning fee, I did expect the condo to be clean when I arrived. Also, there were a few things like light bulbs that needed to be replaced and basic items (dish drain and a laundry basket) that took a while for the management company (South Pointe) to fix. South Pointe staff was always friendly and helpful but problem resolution was not always prompt. (Note that McKenzie and Andrea were very responsive.) Another issue is the TV cable service is terrible because there is no on-screen guide. It took almost a week for South Pointe to deal with the problem and provide me with a link to the Mediacom website so I could know what shows were on what channel and at what time. So when I had issues with internet access I did not know what was on TV. Also, a major problem I had was I lost the WIFI connection almost a week before my rental period ended. It took them 2 days to call me back to tell me that the condo’s HOA had permanently discontinued the WIFI service and they had no solution to get me Internet service.

Another issue for me was that the floors are concrete with minimal throw rug coverage, which probably keeps the unit cool during the summer. However, I rented the condo for the month of January and it was very cold. The thermostat is remotely controlled by the owner, set between 69 and 73 degrees, but even at 73 degrees, the condo is very cold. I used all of the available blankets and slept in nightclothes and a sweatshirt to stay warm. One evening the thermostat went into “vacation” mode and dropped to 60 degrees. I had to call South Pointe who contacted the owner who was able to turn the heater back on after a couple of hours. It was freezing and a bit scary there as the temperature in the condo dropped rapidly and at that point I did not trust them to respond promptly. FYI: The table chairs (for both tables) and the sectional couch are not very comfortable. The master bath toilet takes a long time to refill with water. Good points: master bed is comfortable, appliances generally worked, the building is across the street from Gulf beach access and the bay side windows let in a good amount of light.

Owner's Response: Since this unit has never received a negative review, a thorough investigation was completed by all companies and agencies involved. 1/05/15: Check-in courtesy call provided by guest services documents your response: "everything in unit is good". Guest services would have provided an additional complimentary cleaning if dissatisfaction was reported. 1/07/15: Guest services delivered to you, in person, an additional cable guide the day you requested it & they stayed in the unit, to help you use all the remote controls for all the flat screens. 1/13/15: You requested an additional laundry basket and kitchen strainer which was delivered the day of the request, your documented email to this request was: "thanks for the quick response." 1/16/17: At your request, guest services helped you use the up and down arrows on the HVAC thermostat screen to adjust your temperature, since you have complete control of your rental propertys' temperature. 1/17/17: At your request, guest services had the HVAC company provide a service call to you, since you had made an error and put your thermostat in vacation mode. The HVAC company documented a second follow up phone call to you after their service was complete to ensure you were satisfied. The HVAC company documented your response, "unit 112 guest does not need us to return to the unit, she understands how to use the large up and down arrows to raise and lower the temperature on the thermostat." The thermostat is working properly. 1/22, 1/23, 1/24, 1/25: Guest services & Mediacom(cable/internet provider) tried to contact you many times to schedule the new wifi modem quick installation in your unit. All units in Palm Beach Club were getting upgraded modems to increase wifi speed. You did not respond to their attempts. 1/26/15: Guest services documented that you delivered the unopened new wifi modem back to the guest services Point South office, and prevented the quick install from occurring. At this current time, the new modem has been installed. 1/31/15: Guest services reports at departure inspection & cleaning, "the condominium was very hot & stuffy since the guest left the thermostat heating on 79 degrees when they left."
