Bonnie at the Bungalow
About Bonnie at the Bungalow
My husband, Kent, and I have lived in Pasadena since 1991. We love and enjoy this area with it's natural beauty, magnificent architecture, cultural events, wonderful neighborhoods, and so many things to do and see. Although living here for over 20 years we are still surprised by the treasures we find. Kent works as an optical engineer at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory and I home-school our two children in this vibrant and creative community. I'm here to answer any of your questions about the area and/or The Bungalow.
Why Bonnie at the Bungalow chose Pasadena
This unique bungalow offers a bit of everything. It's location is very central . You can take pleasant walks to places you need to go, or just for fun. The 1922 craftsman bungalow style is quintessential Pasadena, which makes it very charming and attractive. It is private, quite and discrete and has been updated to include all the comforts of home.

Cozy atmosphere everything I needed
Great place to stay
The property was perfect for my visit to my son. Very well maintained has everything I needed and was comfortable. Bonnie was great and the dance class was fun. The street parking was ok abut there were cars parked on the street during the day so I did have to park elsewhere once and move the car because of a time limit. There were no difficulties parking at night. I will rent this again when I come back. Really 4 1/2 stars would be appropriate, only drawback was having to park on the street.
Sweet Pasadena bungalow
Excellent use of space. Clean and bright. Great location.
Bonnie is the most responsive owner we have ever dealt with in a short-term rental. She goes above and beyond!
Thank you, Bonnie.

Small but perfectly formed
Bonnie is nothing but helpful and welcoming in the run up and throughout our visit (which was 3 weeks) knowing you have an owner that cares is a great support for the longer stays.
The bungalow is small, very small so do be aware if you wanted an indoor space to relax it's not that spacious - that said a smart TV does help! Kitchen has almost all you need - I should have gifted a garlic crusher though! Great air con, good WiFi and a, covered by vines, outdoor space (which we didn't use much). Close to the freeway entrance, but very little in walking distance for those of us who like to stretch our legs and walk. It's about $7 one way in Uber if you're factoring in a night in Old Pas.
On parking - while not a concern for us - those with lots of luggage, walking difficulties, a desire to have the car right there, this could be a factor. Often we did have to park in the next block. And watch the street cleaning days!
Surrounding neighbors tend to be younger students but no noise at night to concern you. There is a dog next door that did have some barking issues, Bonnie is aware, but early morning (6.45/7am) barking and aggressive barking when you pass by or are in the yard is a little unsettling.
A great value space with a super supportive and caring owner.
Thanks Bonnie, hope our paths cross again soon. M&T
