Kik purchased this house in 1999
We were looking for perfect country living, we found it in Napa valley!!
peace, healing, rejuvinate.....It is heavenly here,
Thank you for a most memorable weekend. the wine, view and fellowship were exceptional. may life be full of those memorable warm moments!!
This place is certainly off the beaten path, but it was just what we were looking for. A quiet getaway after a long day of running around wine country. We had a group of 6 adults and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was perfect for group dinners and enjoying a glass of wine at the end of a fun day. The home was very clean and the views were amazing. Being on location at a vineyard created a romantic atmosphere for our trip, so beautiful in fact that I proposed to my girlfriend while walking through the vineyard our very first morning there. I think the sun shining across the rolling hills made it so she couldn't say no.
The VinRoc tour was a perfect way to start our trip. Although the vineyard was a bit remote it was still conveniently located to Napa and many of the vineyards we had chosen to visit. I highly recommend staying here and would definitely come back! Thank you Kiki and Michael for a wonderful stay in Napa!
I stayed at this retreat for my 50th birthday celebration with 4 family members. The property is high up the mountain, taking approximately 20 minutes from downtown Napa, but it is completely worth it when you get there. The house was clean and had everything we needed.
The view from the house is spectacular! After full days in Napa, we were looking forward to spending our evenings at the house, sitting at the deck with a bottle of wine and watch the sunset which was absolutely gorgeous and cooking dinner.
Michael gave us a nice complimentary tour of the property and wine cave. The wine tasting was in the cave and the wines were excellent!
Kiky was very responsive and had helpful advice for local attractions and restaurants.
We highly recommend this property to others and will definitely stay there again!
After being in San Francisco for 4 days, coming to Napa was the perfect way to finish our trip in CA. With our 3 adult daughters and son-in-law, this was the first time we had all taken a trip together for a few years. Kiky and Michael were the perfect hosts, offering a wonderful property with stunning views! The house was everything we expected, so much so that although we had reservations on 2 nights to wonderful restaurants, we decided to stay in and cook! The grill on the deck allowed us to prepare meals so we could enjoy the unbelievable views of the vineyard with sunsets that are unlike no other! Michael's tour of the winery was extremely generous and he spent a great deal of time with us explaining their winemaking. Kiky was so complete in providing all the information we needed about directions and other information about the house, always responding quickly. As our family all like to be outdoors, every morning we walked up the mountain road and explored Atlas Peak. The property is high up the mountain, taking some time to drive, but it is completely worth it when you arrive. After full days in Napa and Sonoma, we were excited to spend our evenings at the house. We highly recommend this property to others and can't wait to visit again!
This home was everything promised and a bit more. The extra large deck provided a great place to enjoy the quiet and the beautiful views of the vineyards. Three couples shared the home for five nights and loved starting the day with coffee on the deck. The dining room and the deck had tables large enough for the six of us to comfortably enjoy a meal. The host had supplied extras, such as robes, slippers and cuddle blankets, to ensure our stay was cozy.
The retreat was 20 minutes from the main road, but was well worth the drive for the beauty and quiet of the country. [note: one of the six in our party suffers from motion sickness and had a hard time on the windy road, but admitted it was worth it to be in such a gorgeous spot] One of the highlights of our vacation was a private wine tour and tasting. The excellent wine and Micheal's generosity with his knowledge of the area, growing and producing wine made for a wonderful experience.
The hosts were very responsive and had helpful advice for local attractions and restaurants.
I would recommend this retreat to anyone looking for a peaceful, quiet place to stay.
Beautiful property with breathtaking views. Michael and Kiki were very courteous hosts and were available if needed but completely respected our privacy. The house and the vineyard were relaxing escapes after the traffic and congestion of napa.
We stayed at VinRoc for a week. The house was comfortable with the most spectacular views. We lived on the deck as much as possible. It was quiet and relaxing with only the sounds of birds and cows mooing. It is a windy dive up the peak but well worth it for the views and peacefulness. Michael shared a historical story of the vineyard and why it produced such wonderful grapes for wine making. He also gave us a tour of the property and wine cave. The wine tasting was in the cave and the wines were excellent! Both hosts were gracious and helpful. We will definitely stay there again. Thank you Kiky and Michael
