Why Owner/Manager chose Big Sky

This property is very unique with the privacy and secludedness of country living but yet the trail to the lift right out the front door. It has a great view of the Beaver pond from the living room and wonderful views of Lone mountain from the Master suite.

Review #4965950 Wonderful vacation!

My family rented this property for a long ski weekend. We live in Montana and just wanted to get away from work and school and relax. This was definately the place to do that. The house is beautifully, designer decorated, yet cozy and comfortable and kid friendly! Although other houses are close, the trees are situated in a way that you feel as if you are in a private setting. This house has every amenity you need. We cooked most of our meals and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Everything was of the highest quality. We had teenagers and small children with us and never felt like there was anything they couldn't touch or sit on! One of the best parts of this trip for me, being from Colorado was the quick, short lines at the lifts. The runs were great, the snow amazing, yet we could ski all day and say we spent more time on the slopes than in line or on a chair lift. I would recommend this rental and will definately be going back! Maybe for a girls weekend.

A Perfect Honeymoon Getaway

  • 5 of 5

The Powder Ridge Chalet was exquisite! We could not have asked for a better place to nest up for our honeymoon. Having close access to the resort, a state-of-the-art hot tub and gourmet kitchen made our stay a dream come true!

Perfect Summer Getaway

  • 5 of 5

Our family of seven stayed here for a week in July. This luxurious Moosewood chalet is absolutely stunning! The owner has furnished this house with exceptional taste and provided everything needed from supplies for cooking to plenty of towels (and we use lots as a family of 7). There are movies and traditional games to entertain, but who needs those when you can watch a moose and her calf, fox, and beavers out the picture window? The view of Lone Peak from the spacious, luxurious master bedroom will make you feel like you are still dreaming when you wake up in the morning. The chalet is close to many Big Sky activities but feels very private as it backs to a wooded area with a stream and pond. After strenuous or leisurely hikes (we did both), a fun filled day enjoying beautiful sights at Yellowstone (highly recommended), or enjoying the resort town with the kids, a glass of wine and time in the hot tub (after putting the kids to bed) was a perfect way to end the day. The owner’s attention to detail and concern for guest comfort has made it a guarantee that Big Sky will see our family again soon!

Perfect multigeneration family vacation

  • 5 of 5

We just completed a family vacation(5 adults, 2 boys, ages 8 and 10) in this beautiful antique filled home. We chose it for the beaver creek location and it didn't disappoint, we spotted both moose and deer there. The creek provided tadpoles for a temporary aquarium. We were an easy walk to the lake for fishing and water craft activities. The jacuzzi was private with forest views.

The house is well stocked, plenty of towels, paper goods and cooking equipment. Big Sky is a great vacation spot! We highly recommend the white water rafting, hiking(beehive basin twice, it was so gorgeous), MOR In Bozeman, fly fishing lessons and the long day at Yellowstone. We have been missing this beautiful vacation spot!

Great house and location!

  • 4 of 5

We had three families staying in the home over President's Day week. The accommodations were great and the skiing was superb. We combined some skiing with snowmobiling in Yellowstone. The kids loved both.

Evonne did a great job providing us with all the necessary information about Big Sky. She was very quick to respond to our inquiries and the house was a great fit for our families.

Like living on a fairway but with skiing

  • 5 of 5

I had an incredible time in this luxury cabin. We stayed there for 3 days and my day looked quite simple:

Wake up

Grab a cup of coffee with some breakfast

Put on skis and follow the downhill trail to the lift

ski back to the cabin for lunch

ski out again

ski back for dinner

get the fireplace going

quick dip in hot-tub

recline by the fire and hangout

We pretty much didn't need to get into the car once we got there. There were so many things that was terrific about this place, but my most favorite thing was something small. Heated tiles in the bathroom makes all the difference early in the morning right after you wake up.

Amazing vacation home

  • 5 of 5

Our group of first time skiers had an amazing time at this rental home. It is very spacious with plenty of room for large families. It was a very convenient 2 minute drive away from base camp at Big Sky Resort. We enjoyed soaking in the large hot tub after a long day of skiing and relaxing by the fireplace. Cupboards are stocked with all necessary kitchen supply to cook for a large group. Absolutely beautiful home and we loved our time in Big Sky!
