This lovely house in the exclusive Landings neighborhood offers a relaxed atmosphere chock full of the owner’s personal touches. The upstairs level features the living room, dining room, kitchen and master bedroom, as well as access to the deck where you’ll find the gas grill and private hot tub. A gas fireplace, sectional couch and large flat screen TV with Blu-Ray create an inviting living area that’s open to the dining room and kitchen. Stainless steel appliances grace the well-equipped kitchen along with wood cabinetry and granite counter tops. There are four hand-carved swivel bar stools at the counter and a dining table that seats up to eight. A king sized bed and elaborate master bath with jetted tub and dual sinks create a comfortable and spacious master suite. Downstairs are two additional bedrooms that share a full bathroom. One bedroom offers a queen over queen bunk bed, while the second offers two sets of twin over twin bunks. There is parking for one car in the garage and another car in the driveway. The Landings is a quiet family neighborhood within walking distance to the slopes of Steamboat Ski Area.
Our long weekend was a birthday celebration for our adult son and his girlfriend. We gave them the master bedroom upstairs; my wife and I stayed downstairs. The bunkbeds are not very suitable for older adults.
Less than 10 minute walk along a short path to the gondola and base village, this house was perfect for our family of 5. The two bunkbed rooms on the lower level slept up to 8, great for sleepovers (the queen bunk was the best bed in the house imho). Kitchen was cozy and well stocked with pots, pans, glasswear, china, spices and sharp knives, and the large sectional sofa was comfy. Kids loved the hottub and I appreciated the laundry and drying rack . Couldn't get the fireplace to work. Also the king bed was a little soft. Rental agency was very helpful in booking lift tickets and rentals at a discount (kids rent and ski free with paying 5 day adult ticket & rental) . Check in and out was a breeze and advice on grocery shopping (City Market) was excellent.
