This place was very comfortable and well maintained. Everything we needed was here and was in working order. This is our second time at this property and I will definitely be back again. I really enjoyed the backyard and the BBQ deck. I'm very happy with the cleanliness of the property and i would recommend this cabin to anybody. Everything advertised was here. I've been to other properties that advertise things such as washer and dryer but come to find out only the washer was working or wood burning fireplace but the fireplace was sealed off. Anyways that's not the case here.
This is a nice property, it has all you really need for a weekend get away. The only complaint we had here was that many of the lights had burnt out bulbs that needed to be replaced and no replacement bulbs available. It has a nice size fenced yard which is great for dogs. The neighborhood is very quiet and everyone you meet is very friendly. We had a great weekend here overall! We evwn had an issue with the cable/internet getting knocked out by a fallen branch and were refunded a portion of our rental fee, which was honorable.
The weather forecast called for continuous snow over three days. We were excited. We arrived to a spacious cabin. We fired-up the single wll furnace, down stairs, that only kept the immediate area uncomfortably tolerable. The upstairs was cold, cold, cold. We managed to sleep because of my foresight. I always plan for the worse case scenario. In this case, the four sleeping bags did the trick. Upon waking up, we detected a STRONG GAS ODOR. Immediately, we got the kids out of the house and into the truck, I went back in to open the doors and called the main office to request a different cabin. They sent a handyman to shut off the gas. I had to drive across town to get a new key to another cabin instead of sending it with their handyman. It was a rough start to what was supposed to be a smooth, fun trip. Next time, I'll just stay at a hotel.
