This Mother-in-Law unit is a newly remodeled 550 sq.ft. furnished basement apartment. A side door opens into a small vestibule, where through a shared laundry room you access the private and secure apartment.

Living Room

This nicely furnished space is filled with natural sunlight. You can relax in comfort with a book next to the gas fireplace or watch a movie on the 50” big screen.

Kitchen

The full kitchen has modern conveniences i.e. full-size refrigerator, cook top w/ oven, microwave, and dish washer. The kitchen is stocked with all the cookware, table settings and accessories needed to whip up your favorite meal.

Bedroom

The bedroom has a king size Westin Heavenly bed. The closet has tons of storage space. There is an attached full bath/shower combination. We can also accommodate a youngster with a very comfortable folding cot.

Laundry Room

The laundry room is a shared space with a full-size washer and dryer.

Parking

There is one dedicated parking space for guests off the alley behind the house. There is also plenty of street parking. This is a very safe and quiet neighborhood.

Bus Stop

Directly in from of the home (24 &19), the 31 and 33 are one blocks away.

Dog on premises. (Ricco) is a twelve pound standard Pomeranian. He does not access the apartment, but does run between the main house and the fenced yard. He is extremely friendly and will greet you with his hello howls.

The perfect space for our needs. Great owners with a well appointed apartment.

Scott and Sandy are the most pleasant people that we could rent from. They have set this apartment up beautifully with everything a person could want and need during their stay. The snack box was greatly appreciated. The bathroom is nicely stocked with soap and hair care products, should one forget to bring their own. The towels are a nice weight and don't feel cheap. In the kitchen, every utensil imaginable is available and anyone wanting to cook here would have no issues.

The living room is quiet and comfy with a gas fireplace and a nice size television, with Netflix too! Lastly, the bedroom is very comfortable with a great bed and nice sheets that did not feel cheap either. There is also a tv in that room too, although I did not use it.

The icing on the cake is (being a two dog owner myself) seeing and interacting with the owner's two dogs, Ricco and Leo. Getting to see the two dogs and pet them was a nice addition, while never being obtrusive or a nuisance.

I would never hesitate to stay at this apartment again and actually look forward to my next visit.

Scott and Sandy could not have fixed this place up any better. Kudos to you both!!!

Perfect!

This FRBO delivers in every way to make your stay here perfect. You enter from the back of the house and as you walk toward the entry door, you are greeted with a striking view of the Seattle skyline and beautiful plants and flowers all around. You may also be greeted by the owner's friendly dogs and/or the owners themselves, Sandy and Scott.

You will have to navigate one short set of stairs to get down to the apartment proper, which is on two levels. The upper level has a bedroom and bathroom. Down another short set of stairs is the main apartment---living area, kitchen, bedroom, and another bath with tub. The main apartment is below ground level but has windows which provide plenty of natural light.

The living area has a very comfortable sofa and chairs, a small table with two chairs which can be used for meals or a work space, large flat screen TV and Sonos music streaming system. All are easy to operate. Movies are available through the Xfinity cable service for a fee that you will reimburse to the owners or you can access Netflix, where the content is free. The gas fireplace provides plenty of heating in the living room and there is also a central heating and air condition system. The owners provide complete instructions concerning operation of these systems but encourage you to call or text if you have questions. Free Wifi is provided.

The bedroom is quite comfortable with a king-size bed, side tables, and a closet for storage of clothes. There is also a second smaller television. The main bathroom is bright and cheerful. There are plenty of towels, shampoo, and other amenities, all of excellent quality. The full kitchen is available for use by guests to cook and prepare meals. Every contingency for cooking is provided and many condiments are available, some left behind by previous guests. A nice touch was the provision of fresh fruit, bagged popcorn, and chocolate that greeted us upon arrival.

The main apartment is quiet--you cannot not hear any noise from the owners, who live upstairs. We didn't use the upstairs bedroom but imagine it is similarly quiet. Street noise is minimal.

The apartment is only two blocks or so from downtown Magnolia, which has a full-service Albertson's grocery where you can buy food, liquor and wine; several good restaurants; a bakery; and other shops. For restaurants we can recommend the Serendipity Cafe and Lounge, Mondello Ristorante Italiano, and Rogo's Restaurant and Bar.

Magnolia Property

We just spent 10 days at this property and liked it very much. The owners were nice and easy to work with. The two dogs were friendly. We had everything we needed in the apartment. It was close to our daughter's house in Magnolia, so we could travel back and forth quickly. The snacks the owners left us were a special treat after traveling most of the day. We hope to book this apartment again sometimes.
