Our current art collection includes original oils, watercolors, photography, venue posters, and giclee. Artwork includes works on the Mississippi Delta, Clarksdale, Blues Music venues and events, and blues men and women. We honor all things that are Mississippi, Mississippi Delta, music, blues and those that have made/make the music. Original works include BB King, Otha Turner, Junior Kimbro, RL Burnside, John Lee Hooker, Son House, Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson, Robert Belfour, Charlie Musslewhite, Big Jack Johnson, Pat Thomas, Pinetop Perkins, Fred McDowell, and many others. Such historic icons as Red's, Po Monkey's, Club Ebony, Red Top Lounge, Messenger's Pool Hall are also featured. Fabulous original custom metalwork by artist Stephanie Dwyer. A truly one-of-a-kind interior bottle tree which is 6 foot x 2 foot.

The property is in a great location. The decor was awesome! You can walk to everything. Juke clubs with live music were amazing!

It has it all
My husband and friend stayed here and it was the highlight of their trip. They had everything they needed, were comfortable like being at home, and the decor was so fun. My non-decorator husband now has ides to redo his man cave. They loved this town and Hooker Hotel was a fabulous experience.
Great Blues Theme Lodging
Exceeded expectations in this comfortable, slightly quirky, blues themed lodging that paired perfectly with the reason for visiting Clarksdale .... The Blues
First night got off to a rocky start the ac was not working but contacted John and he took care of it in a timely manner. Limo had a flat tire to go to the Ground Zero Club but the walk is easy and fun. You get to see so much more. Overall my friends , spouse and I had a blast. Love the vibes everywhere from the Hooker Hotel where we stayed to Hambone. Will visit soon.
The Hooker Hotel is within easy walking distance of restaurants, bars, Blues clubs, Museums, wine & spirits store, convenience market,Art Galleries, Cat Head Blues, 5 banks, and downtown shopping. No reason to drive if you are staying at The Hooker Hotel because all of the above are between a 2-7 minute stroll. Hambone Art Gallery and the Rock & Blues Museum are directly across the street. During many of the festivals (Juke Joint Festival, Hambone Festival,Sunflower Blues Festival), live music is right out your door during the day.
Blues music venues including Ground Zero Blues Club, Red's, the New Roxy, Messenger's, Club 2000, Bluesberry,and the Hambone Gallery are all within a 2-7 minute easy walk.
Also within easy walking distance are numerous restaurants including Yazoo Pass, Levon's, Grandma's Pancakes, Stone Pony, Bluesberry Cafe, & Ground Zero Blues Club.
