Huge Nice Cozy Room in Cozy Apt. -- with full access to other areas --[call for details]. Yankee Stadium area.
NO CHILDREN, SMOKERS, PARTY-ERS.
The Bronx, the northernmost borough of New York City, is home to much more than Yankee Stadium.
Bronx real estate includes elegant single-family houses, but you can also find beautiful Art Deco apartment buildings and sun-splashed co-ops in the Bronx. The borough includes the world-famous Bronx Zoo, Van Cortlandt Park, and Pelham Bay Park – which is the largest park in New York City and is more than triple the size of Central Park. The area closest to Manhattan is the South Bronx. It is being revitalized and now contains converted lofts and artist’s spaces. The rest of the Bronx splits roughly into west and east, with the zoo and Bronx River Road on its eastern edge serving as the divide. Notable West Bronx neighborhoods include Riverdale, which features a cluster of turn-of-the-century mansions as well as high-rise doormen apartments; Kingsbridge, known for its brick houses and local shops, and the Grand Concourse, a wide boulevard lined with Art Deco apartment buildings. In the East Bronx there’s City Island, a little seaport enclave with waterfront condos, single-family houses, and dozens of lobster restaurants; Pelham Bay, a neighborhood of one- and two-family houses that borders the park, and Co-op City, a development with more than 15,000 apartments and townhouses

Very nice house in a nice building in the Bronx!
the house is large, well-structured, the kitchen is complete with all appliances. the decor is beautiful and functional.
2 tv, wifi, a nice city view (16th floor)
but the best thing about this stay was the hostess !! Anita is great: super helpful, very kind, reliable: it was a real treasure !!
it was a wonderful stay!
Anita could not have been nicer. The apartment is as stated. The juice in the fridge came in very handy a few times. Even better was the water/ice dispenser on the fridge--we filled up our water bottles every day before venturing out! It's not far from a couple different grocery stores so you can pick up what you need very easily. The subway stops aren't far and will take you right into Manhattan without any transfers. I would definitely stay with Anita again!
Was the Location Nice? Yes - I am a returning New Yorker but having been away for so long I needed some details and Anita was only a phone call away with those quick answers. Starting with the directions to the assigned parking garage, which you must have in NYC or you'll pay an arm and a leg for. I didn't see Anita until I asked for her to show me how to use the awesome espresso machine which was also kind of cool and then she went above and beyond to show me other neat amenities in the apartment. I spent a lot of time on the balcony because the view of the city and the cool air from the elevation made for a nice start to the day. The D train which takes you where you need to go in the city or at least any transfer point was a really short walk away.
Was the place clean and safe? Yes - The place was beautiful and clean with all the amenities you would need. There is security in the lobby and that is only because this is a big city and you don't want just anyone entering that doesn't need to.
Thank you again Anita for making us feel at home. I will definitely be back to visit NYC and hope to stay there again.
The unit was exactly as pictured, A beautiful apartment with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay! Very clean and neat. Anna was a pleasure to work with! She is quick to respond, courteous, and professional.
Anna provided water and orange juice in the fridge for me and my family and that was truly appreciated! The apartment was equipped with nice appliances, cooking spices, coffee, tea, and even laundry detergent! It was spacious with a really comfortable bed and sleeping couch. It was definitely our home away from home! Thank you, Anna! We hope to see you again!
I can't come up with enough good things to say about my stay here. I stayed for 2.5 weeks and it was perfect. Great location, great apartment, great host and every amenity you will need! Anita is beyond the perfect host and even had drinks stocked in the fridge! She is wonderful! The location is super convenient. 2 blocks to the train and a quick ride into the city. Parking is a big bonus as I had to have a car to get to places upstate. I've already booked my next stay! The apartment is well furnished with great decor and a comfy bed. Can't go wrong here. Oh and the laundry is super fast! Thanks again Anita!
This apartment was amazing. Whenever I visit again I will try to stay here. The apartment was clean and equipped with everything that we needed and more. The apartment had towels, soap, bottled water, fresh ground Dominican coffee!!! wifi, cable, take-out delivery, it was quiet, I could go on... This was way better than staying in a hotel. I felt like I was coming home everyday. Anita our hostess was very welcoming and attentive to our needs. I loved everything about it, the view, the stone floors, the art, the space, the location (walking distance to the subway). I highly recommend this location for anyone visiting the city. It takes a lot to impress my "fancy" husband and he was totally impressed.
Was the apartment as described? Yes, absolutely, and very well-maintained as well. (Our favorite aspect? The balcony. It was amazing to be able to watch the sun rise and set over the city.) Was the customer service good? Yes, absolutely: Anita promptly answered our questions and offered additional amenities and services that went above and beyond the usual. Do be aware, though, as this is NYC, there is plenty of noise, so prepare accordingly. We used a free white-noise app for sleeping.
Some random aspects of the area we enjoyed as well as those mentioned: the park, across the street and half a block south; the Tuesday farmers' market (in the park); Yankee Tavern, a good old fashioned neighborhood watering hole; a terrific Mexican restaurant, Xochimilco (not a good walk but they deliver); a mall very close by, Bronx Terminal Market; and easy access via subway to Manhattan.
This property was perfect for us, a 50-something couple. We highly recommend it and hope to return during our next visit to NYC.
Accessible to the 4, 5 trains and also the D train and Express Bus to Manhattan. Bronx Zoo; Botanical Gardens; Orchard Beach; Upper West Side; Riverdale; City Island.
