Property was very nice and roomy. Exceptionally clean, well stocked and beds were very comfortable.

We had a great time during our first visit to N. Captiva. The kids liked this island better than Little Gasperilla and my husband prefers fishing in that area. The people working on the island were all extremely friendly and on top of any issues we had.

The house is really nice and secluded and we had a very good time despite the flood cased by Harvey.

Two small complaints though.

1)The person who is in charge of cleaning had not cleaned the dishes and ustensils in the kitchen.

2) The seats covers in the kitchen are extremely dirty and need to be replaced.

Other than that , everything was perfect.

Beautiful home in a private location.

  • 4 of 5

Our family of 8 had an incredible visit to Junonia. The home was clean and perfect for us. The walk to the beach was simple. We enjoyed the privacy of this home and the simplicity of living. Getting groceries was slightly complicated, but now we know how. There were a few things like issues with the golf cart and light bulbs out in various rooms.

But overall, we will return to Captiva.

We love renting jet skis and a boat for a day. Snorkeling and searching for manatees was a highlight. We also loved the boat ride to visit cabbage key and eat lunch in the cute little restaurant there. This was one of our greatest family vacations!

It is seldom our family of seven agrees: THIS PLACE WAS PARADISE!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in June and everything was perfect. We were close to a beautiful private-like beach. The house was wonderful and had all the necessities of home. The beds were dreamy!! Balconies were beautiful! My younger children had fun gathering the fallen coconuts in the yard and my older children preferred exploring around the island. Wish list would have been a ping pong table or something for kids to do at night after the country club pool closed, but we did utilize many of the board and card games they supplied and were grateful for them. It was easy to keep clean and organized and that made it much more enjoyable for Mom since we didn't get housekeeping. We were a bit worried about if we would be able to get enough food on the island with the ferry tub restrictions but we had more than enough room...and food! Remember to bring sand toys, boogie boards and a place to put shells for collecting! This is a place where a family can reconnect and enjoy each other.
