Come stay at this charming historic home. As you drive up, you will see gorgeous mature pecan, fig, and other native trees giving the property an inviting ambience. The house was originally built 100 years ago, and has been added on since, with all the modern commodities that we all enjoy. Just a block away is the Cibolo creek where you can see wildlife like, ducks, turtles, nutrias, and more. Why not take your fishing rod and a cooler and try to catch something! One more block away and you will find numerous places to dine, shop, antiques and entertainment. Depending on the time of the year, different fairs, festivals, shows and parades are held right on main street. You still need more excitement, then jump in your car for a 15 minute drive to San Antonio, upscale shopping, movies, fiesta texas and much more! This is the place to stay if you want to experience the old nostalgic feeling of the Hill Country!

We bought this place because of it's charm! I fell in love with the mature trees, the peaceful sense it brought me & the great location! I hope many others can share this house and enjoy it just as I do!
Liza Linder purchased this chateau / country house in 2005
I bought this house because as soon as I saw it, I fell in love with the architecture and mature trees that surround it, not to mention its great location!
Location, location, location! You will get a glimpse of living in the past, but still have all the comfort of modern living. This house now has a small cottage on the same property that can be rented separatly or with this house (listing #600600). Both still totally private from each other. Call owner with any questions.
I wanted to thank all of you who chose my listing on VRBO, and had the opportunity to stay at my charming home. This is my first year renting, and it would not be possible without wonderful people like you!! Thanks for enjoying your stay, making this home your home, and taking care of this beautiful place. I love to hear your feedback and I work hard to make this place better every day. I hope to serve you again in the future when you come back to Boerne :)
Cute house in great location with everything our girl group needed. The owner was close by and responded immediately to questions and needs. Because it was a cold and rainy weekend, we spent more time indoors than we wanted. There was an inviting patio area that would have been delightful. We did long for a fireplace. Although we didn't cook, the kitchen was roomy for all the food we brought in-----nice appliances, granite counters, big refrigerator. Both bathrooms were large and well appointed.
The main street of Boerne is a short walk. A beautiful creekside paved path is a fun way to get your exercise and see the sights.
This house was in a very convenient location and perfect for 4 grandchildren and their two grandparents. The precarious staircase was a concern when we read about it in the other reviews since we are in our 60s but once on site we didn't find them to be as bad as portrayed. The house was cute and furnished with every the we needed. Beds were little soft and pillows a little flat in the upstairs bedroom but easily solved by buying two cheap pillows from Walmart that were adequate for our week long stay and the softer bed didn't present a problem since my husband and I were exhausted after caring for 4 kids all day! We will definitely rent the house again.
We stayed about a week and a half. The house had all you need to be comfortable. The location is great... about 2 blocks off the main street in town. Two blocks from a great little coffee shop/café. A block away from a great walking/jogging trail along the river. Very quite neighborhood.
Couldn't have worked out any better. Large family of 6 stayed here for a bit over 2 months, and we loved it. Close to downtown area, walked everywhere, and great central location for exploring the Hill Country. Will book it again if we are looking for another great Hill Country Summer.
This house was perfect- perfect size, perfect location, perfect to call home. Our family of 4 fit nicely plus extra space. Our favorite part included walking into town for coffee and treats.
Weekend stay at this cozy home. Clean & nice. Safe neighborhood. Walking distance to historic downtown. Unique property with loads of privacy. Will stay here again.
One block to the Cibolo Creek, two blocks to downtown Boerne with numerous restaurants, shopping, entertainment and local activities.
