Perfect little get away

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I rented this cabin for a quick little get away and to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The cabin is absolutely charming and so cozy and was the perfect size for my husband and I and our walker hound. We loved that it was pet friendly, close to town and the dog park across the street! We had such an amazing time and will definitely be renting this cabin in the future!

Little getaway, possible relocation scouting.

  • 4 of 5

Love the Big Bear lake nearby, the mountains and boulders. The little cabin was cozy, but HOT. AC wasn't working, but was to busy outside to bother with it. The bedroom was a just a bed with not much room to spare, but te living room was cozy for the night after hiking and everything else BIg Bear has to offer.

Looking to move out here, and that was part of the plan while staying here.

Great weekend getaway for Two

  • 4 of 5

Recently remodeled and very cozy. Although small at 600 sq ft the space is perfectly utilized. Queen bed in the BR allows just enough space to navigate in and out--the closet accommodates a large suitcase. The small bathroom has no tub but does have a dedicated sure-footed full-size tiled shower. I'm 6-foot, 220 lbs and had no problem using the room. The small kitchen is well laid out with most of the needed hardware. Small dining table handles two comfortably and adjoins the "spacious" living room where one does not feel crowded and there's enough space for morning stretches before walking/whatever. Did not use the grill this trip but it was there on the back porch--front porch was spacious and a great sit with morning/afternoon coffee. Kitchen needs hot pads and instructions should be left for the TV system. Stacy was very responsive when the arrival package/directions didn't arrive and thereafter--my two calls never went to V-m; she picked right up. Very clean and tidy overall::::4.5 stars. We would definitely return.

Modest and charming.

  • 4 of 5

Quiet and relaxing. A little overpriced, with added manager fee ($100) and pet fee ($25/day, while the hotels charge $10...$20!). Slow in refunding the deposit!

Quaint cabin!

  • 5 of 5

Perfect getaway for 2 (plus an infant) to Big Bear! Cute decor and the functionality of the cabin are great, especially for a short stay. Easily accessible to the lake and a short drive into the Village. The owner has taken care to ensure that you have all the basics for cooking in as well. Very clean and comfortable, would definitely stay with them again!

My husband and I had a great time at this cabin. Quaint, updated and convenient location

  • 5 of 5

Overall it was a 5. The location was walking distance from a lot of things. We enjoyed hiking and the lake view. It was quite hot but it was still manageable. My only minor qualm was regarding the amount of cobwebs in the cabin. I understand it's a mountain home and spiders are everywhere but I could do without them inside. Other than that everything was immaculate and updated with a fully stocked kitchen. It was awesome and we plan to go back to that cabin if we can. Would recommend to friends and family.
