The Villas were built and are owned by a group of New Zealanders living in the South Island. We use the Villas as our Home - away - from Home. It is our wee piece of Paradise in the Sun
Clarke Walker purchased this villa in 1998
Fiji is one of the friendly and secure places in the Pacific.
We enjoy the peace and quiet surroundlings - especially the wonderful sunsets overlooking the Lagoon and Pacific Ocean - we certainly call it our Home in Paradise.
This is Maleqeriqeri, which I have already reviewed. See the review under that name.
The house was clean, comfortable and well stocked. Our only "complaint" was that we made use of the washer and dryer, but the dryer could only dry a few pieces of clothing at a time, so it took 4-5 loads to dry 1 load of wash. Rusi and his family are delightful, very helpful and friendly. This is the perfect set up for a large family or family reunion.
The Villas are located just off the Queens Road overlooking the Pacific Ocean - there are numerous Native Villages in the area where our Guests are made very welcome. Enjoy the Sigatoka Sand Dunes and the Sigatoka Fort you can discover the early Fijian history.
The Sigatoka fresh produce markets is a great place to purchase an array of local fruit and vegetables plus meet the very friendly Fijian people.
The Sigatoka River boat or the Waterfall Raft trips are fantastic ways to spend a day seeing the rural interior.
