This is not just a vacation home for us, but the home where one day we hope to retire, so we have filled it with comfort and love. From wonderful dinners around the table, to afternoons spent on the deck in your private oasis, the house offers many options to enhance your experience. The New Seabury location offers you quiet and privacy if that is what you crave. Or- if you like biking, hiking or water sports they are just minutes away.
Do you like to enjoys the sand and surf? There are 2 public sandy beaches a little over 5 minutes away from the house - SouthCape Beach and the Popponesset "Spit".
Like to play golf? Walk down and take a lesson with the golf pro at New Seabury, or enjoy one of the 5 public golf courses within 15 minutes of the house. Bike and kayak rentals are only 5 minutes away.
Rented for 2 mature couples for 2 weeks. The house is perfectly maintained and the supplies in the kitchen are the best. Cleanliness is also impeccable. A 5 -10 minute drive to the beach. Wouldn't consider this a Cape Cod beach vacation not being within walking distance to the water. The neighborhood is an upscale, carefully manicured and quiet section of New Seabury.
This home was perfect for our family vacation! The owner was wonderful and responded to any questions I had immediately. The home was very clean and well stocked! We loved the back porch for grilling after a long day at the beach! The community is quiet and the streets were perfect for bicycles, I loved that the kids could ride to the beach or shops safely. We will certainly be back!
We had a great time in Cape Cod and New Seabury was a great place to be based to explore the area. The home is in a quiet area but close to the beach and restaurant areas. Highly recommended for families in particular
This is the most beautiful and comfortable house we have stayed in! We instantly felt right at home. We recently stayed in this New Seabury home on our first family vacation to Cape Cod and didn’t really know what to expect. The owner was great to work with and was very helpful. She was very responsive to all of our questions and even gave us a bunch of recommendations and tips on the area. She made planning our trip easy!
We had our two kids (ages 4 & 2), my mother and teenage brother staying with us. The house had everything we needed and then some. The home itself was lovingly decorated with beautiful furnishings, updated kitchen, modern baths, and lots of space. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of soft linens, pillows and towels. The kitchen had every kitchen gadget you could imagine. We cooked most of our meals so it was nice to have most of the condiments, spices, coffee, tea, and other pantry basics on hand.
The house has a big wood deck and large yard with a BBQ grill. We were able to eat several family meals outside and the kids had plenty of space to run around. Every morning we enjoyed seeing chipmunks, wild turkeys, and lots birds in the yard. We are from the city so the wildlife was a real treat for everyone.
There were plenty of things for entertainment in the house. There was cable TV, wifi, board games, puzzles, a ping-pong table in the basement, beach toys, bikes, balls, and even two fishing poles. It was our first-time ever fishing and to our amazement, we actually caught a blue fish from the beach after about only twenty minutes. We only know it was a blue fish because of the nice fisherman who told us, after he kindly de-hooked it for us.
The house is within a 5-minute drive of beaches, the Children’s Museum and Mashpee Commons (an outside mall with all kinds of shops, restaurants and a movie theater). The community also has its own marketplace with beach-style shops, mini-golf, restaurants and bars with live music on some nights. Overall, we had a great vacation and really enjoyed staying at this house and in this area. We were sad to leave and definitely plan to return! We highly recommend this property!
