Overview

About the property

Cabin, 1 Bedroom, 1.5 Baths, (Sleeps 2)

Everyone needs a great getaway and I think this little jewel is definitely one. Our intention was to create a luxurious accommodation without losing the feel of staying in a 1935 log cabin in the woods. The linens and furnishings are top quality,

the furniture is very modern but comfortable, well beyond what one would expect in a rental property, The kitchen is completely equipped right down to the plastic wine glasses for the hot tub.

We understand that you do not get a second chance to make

a good first impression. We want our guests to feel at home in a luxuriously pampered atmosphere. Hopefully they will want to come back and enjoy all four seasons with us.

We have put the price range at a rate that everyone can afford.

Less than half the price of a good hotel or bed and breakfast.

Imagine spending the days on the ski slopes or using the cross country ski trails, that are just steps from the cabin, taking a steam shower or coming downstairs to enjoy a quiet evening with a glass of fine wine in front of the stone fireplace. Perhaps you will prefer enjoying that glass of wine, while soaking in the hot tub underneath the stars and surrounded by the tall Canadian pines.

We have added a queen size blow up mattress with all of the proper bedding, should another couple wish to bunk out in front of the fireplace.

We have added snow shoes for those who would care to take a walk into the woods and flip flops for around the hot tub.

For the Spring, Summer, and Fall Seasons we have provided bikes, so that our guests can enjoy the nature trails all year round.

Does life get any better than this?

About Gail Rodgers

We are 3 girls that have traveled extensively and know what we look for in a rental property.

We purchased this property, knowing that we would make changes and improvements that would wow our guests. We believe in the best quality for an affordable price.

Gail Rodgers purchased this cabin in 2011

Why Gail Rodgers chose Quebec

We fell in love with the location. The cabin is nestled in the woods and enjoys privacy but also has easy access to everything one would want. This is all within walking distance of the village, beach, cross country ski trails, snow shoe, hiking and biking etc.

What makes this cabin unique

Definitely the linear park and the beach. You can literally put your cross country skis on at the front door and off you go. Walk into the village and enjoy the local gossip of village life or a drink at The Comfort Inn.

Perfect Weekend Away!

  • 5 of 5

I can't say enough wonderful things about this cabin - it is even lovelier than the photos, and you feel at home and relaxed the moment you walk in. The decor is nice and updated, the furniture is comfortable, and the cabin is fully equipped for cooking, fires, and hot tubs. We had such a perfect weekend away, and can't wait to come back (for longer!).

Beautiful winter relaxation haven!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at the cozy cabin in the woods for a week in the winter. It was an adorable little place to unwind and disconnect from reality. From the beautiful wood burning fireplace, the vintage structure of the log cabin, the modern furnishings, the steam shower, and the hot tub - everything was AWESOME! Gail was a very gracious host and answered all our questions quickly in the days leading up to booking the cabin. The cabin is situated with easy access to town of Morin Heights or St.Sauveur. Ski hills, grocery store, and yummy restaurants are all close by if you wish to have a quick trip back into the real world. We would recommend it to all our friends and family. Perfect spot to escape the winter blues! Thanks again!

He asked, and I said "Yes!" at the Cozy Cabin!

  • 5 of 5

What can I say about the Cozy Cabin that I haven't said to anyone who will listen 1,000x already!?

My now fiancée and I absolutely love this place. We celebrated our first anniversary there back in 2013 and with the exception of one year where we were too late to book our weekend, we haven't missed a year in 5 years! This year, on our favorite weekend, in our favorite place, he used the beautiful romantic setting of the Cabin to set up the PERFECT proposal.

The main room, from entry to the fireplace and mantel, is the perfect setting to relax with a glass of wine in front of the fire. Imagine it filled with candles, rose pedals and a bottle of champagne - it's truly perfect. The bedroom area, with the gas fire place, cozy attic room with huge bathroom, is also beautiful and relaxing. Finally, a night cap in the hot tub to end off a perfect night at the Cozy Cabin.

I can't express enough how much we love this place and how accommodating Gail and the team have been over the years.

We will continue to celebrate our anniversary there for years to come, and wouldn't dare try another spot! <3

Peaceful, mountainside haven !

  • 5 of 5

Just returned from a week at this cozy cabin and it is the most beautiful, peaceful place I've ever been to!! The interior decor is very elegant and chic, yet still maintains the rustic beauty that you would expect in a cabin..... The kitchen had every pot, dish and utensil needed for us to prepare many great meals!! The living room is the perfect place to unwind and relax... we had a fire going the whole time, and in every corner of the room are large windows therefore no matter where you sit or lounge you are guaranteed to enjoy beautiful views!! Especially when it's snowing lightly outside, just breathtaking !

The hot tub and spa shower can only be referred to as the 'icing on the cake'!!!

I highly recommend this cozy cabin to anyone looking for a place to unwind and relax, and we can only hope to return again in the near future... perhaps the spring...

Many thank you's to Gail, Erin and Meghan for helping to make our stay memorable!! Your attention to detail is 'Winning' !!!!!

A real 'Gem' !!!

Thank you

P & M

Dream get away

  • 5 of 5

Stayed at the cabin for a week in September. What a beautiful, zen place. It has all the amenities of home so you really don't miss anything. We were able to take long walks in the morning and afternoon - the air was so refreshing. The cabin is cozy, and very inviting. Not too far from St. Sauveur - which is a bonus. The week there allowed me to relax and reenergize. Will definitely be back.
