Hello, and Welcome to Aloha Hideaway a place of rest, fun, and excitement

We live in Hawaii for the 'Mana' or Karma that these islands provide. The people, cuisine, culture, flora, natural beauty, hiking, sailing, ocean, and pace all are un-equaled to any other place with the same level of modernization and convenience. Yes some people still think we are a third world country and that we live in grass huts. Although that would simplify life, we have a lot to offer here in Oahu.

After our Hawaiian beach wedding, and Traditional Japanese shrine ceremony, we Soon needed a place to live. We lived 6 months in our first rental purchase (a studio in Fairway Villa). We then upgraded to a one bedroom in the Banyan. We now have four rentals and a home, and hope you decide to come relax in one of our Hideaway's.

We Love Hawaii, and especially the Waikiki Banyan. Location is awesome (1 Block from the Beach)

Amenities are great for the whole family, especially kids. The spaciousness, layout of the rooms.

When we first viewed this unit, We were simply amazed by the view. It is a 180 degree unobstructed view of the beautiful greenery of the mountains, the golf course and Molokai on a clear day off to the right.

Come see for yourself and you wont be disappointed!



What makes this condo unique

The magnificent view, the fully loaded and remodeled look, quieter and cooler on the Mountain side. Separate entrance to the bathroom for multiple guests.

Large Pool, two Jacuzzis, Coffee shop, Eatery poolside, Barbecues and picnic area on 6th floor, Location, great views. Close to shopping, Restaurants, and Night Life.

Nicely appointed condo

I'll start by saying that it was very easy to communicate & interact with the owner, Mike.

We enjoyed the week we spent on the 36th floor with gorgeous mountain views day or night.

The condo is in a great location & having a parking space in the garage was valuable to us.

The condo was clean & a good value during the high season of January.

Great condo at great location !

Family stayed for ten nights at this lovely condo. Just a few minute walking distance to Waikiki beach. Condo had a mini mart, coffee shop and a snack bar on the premises. My daughter preferred I make breakfast in the condo than going out as she loves dad's breakfast. I had all the cooking utensils I needed and plenty of kitchen space to perform the tasks. I would love to vacation in this Condo again, but I may ask the owner of his three other rentals just to have new memories of a different location.

Clean and well taken care of ... Shows owner's pride and they care for the unit and their guests!!!

First time in Hawaii and using VRBO. I had a PROBLEM FREE experience..... I will definitely be using VRBO and coming back to this unit!!!

Stayed 9 nights. Mike the owner owner was fantastic!!! He answered all my questions. I had MUCH hesitation of renting a place through VRBO - first time. Mike went above and beyond to make our stay great and accommodated my family and MANY requests in every way possible. For example, we stayed passed the checkout time and he moved his cleaning for later so his guests (my family) would not be inconvenienced. Furthermore, his assistant, Alexy, was a phone call away and his reply back was within minutes. Mike and Alexy were available via phone, text, email, in person and the response time was instant!!! The communication with this team was awesome!!!!

The unit being on the 36th floor had amazing day and night views. Lots of natural light and a VERY clean unit. Kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, knives, matching utensils, dishes, some basic condiments, and a water filter in the fridge. Definitely saved lots of money (with family) by cooking breakfast at home. New carpets, a renovated kitchen, bathroom, bedroom that were all tastefully decorated. The place has an AC unit but if you open the deck doors you get a nice cold breeze. FREE cable tv (with Netflix), FREE wifi and FREE Canadian calling came in real handy!

King size bed in the bedroom. Mattress was very comfortable. It has a sofa bed with a thick foam mattress and an extra air mattres. Clean towels, beach towels and blankets. Iron, ironing board, laundry basket, luggage rack, and more.... A TRUE HOME AWAY FROM HOME FEELING!!!

The owner has supplied boogie boards, toys, beach umbrella, chairs and more for guests to use at waikiki beach and the pool located on the 6th floor. Laundry and garbage service was at the end of hallway. Being with my family, safety was important. The building was very secure and the unit was very safe. Very family friendly.

Can't beat the location. The unit is close to all amenities. Our family did many day tours and the tour bus pick up loop is across the street. Walking distance to a grocery store called - The Food Pantry. The Waikiki beach is 2 mins away. Shopping, restaurants, and night life is all near by. Perfect location and in the heart of all amenities.

The unit has all new stainless steel appliances. My only recommendation would be to add a dishwasher. Other than that .... I HIGHLY recommend this place to ALL!!!

Good Value

The unit was as described. Very clean. The AC was particulary appreciated since there was a heat wave during our visit. We stayed for 3 nights with two teenagers and the unit met our needs perfectly. Very convenient to the beach. We did not experience any noise from fellow units or the street but we are accustomed to city living. It was nice to have boogie boards, beach towels and chairs, and insulated carry bag. The kitchen was nicely equipped although I would have liked a dishwasher - not a big deal but just a home amenity that was noticeably missed. Parking was a big plus. No issue with sofa bed. Kids were happy. Wifi worked great. View was amazing at night. Initially I was disappointed the ocean view unit was booked, but when we came home after the first night at dark, the view of Diamond Head and the city lights were breathtaking. My only criticism was the communal pool and hot tub are way too small to accommodate two 38 story condo buildings. Hopefully the building mgt. will recify this is the future. We would rent from Mike again if we return to Oahu.
