Welcome to our pet friendly beachside pool home!!
You can choose the unpopulated beach with the access ramp right across the street, or the in ground, solar heated pool with privacy fence. Either way you will not be disappointed. We are offering this four bedroom, two full bathroom, 2400 square foot, pet friendly home on one floor that has been recently updated for your total relaxation and pleasure.
Ponce Inlet is an ideal place to stay while visiting Daytona Beach Shores. It is quiet and unassuming. There is no street parking so there are no crowds on the beach, which is wide and beautiful. If you go two blocks west you will come to the Halifax River where there is charter fishing, kayaking, Wave Runners, and other water activities. Notable restaurants are Inlet Harbour, where you have to go to see the spectacular sunsets, Boondocks for their exceptional fish sandwiches, and The North Turn for their NASCAR history. Head South to the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse, which is Florida’s tallest, for a tour of this wonderful landmark. After the tour grab a bite at the Lighthouse Landing restaurant. Another good restaurant is Jerry’s pizzeria, which features an outside tiki bar.
The house has been recently renovated with new windows and doors, new master bathroom, new kitchen appliances, new bedroom furniture, and a fresh coat of paint. The layout of the house is U shaped, with the pool in the middle. One side of the house features the kitchen, dining room, and common area. The front features the large living room, and the other side contains the bedrooms and bathrooms. It is spacious and comfortable.

House was as described, lots of room and great pool area. Would stay again in a minute. Only downfall was that we were there for bike week and got warned from the city that we could not park trucks and trailers in front of house. They had to be along side. Was nice having a garage to park bikes at night.
This rental was great!
Ponce Inlet location: On an Atlantic barrier island, about an hour from Orlando, St. Augustine or the Kennedy Space Center, depending on your choice of direction, so we took advantage of all that with a few day trips. Also, only about 10 minutes south of central Daytona, which made it easy to check out the bustling and very cool Biketoberfest there, then head back for a restful night's sleep in the quiet community of Ponce Inlet, where the house is.
The house: There were several things we liked, starting with the fact that the owners clearly use this as their own home sometimes, so it is clean and well maintained, not just some tired flop-house rental they are trying to squeeze every last penny from. It is a horseshoe shape around a nice in ground pool, with views of the pool from all three sides, so if you wanted to, you could watch the pool from indoors if you had older kids using it. The house has ample room, with good places to gather, as well as a couple of nice little sitting areas to read quietly or use a computer, away from the rest of your clan. We felt very much at home, as everything worked with no issues and the place is very easy to relax in. The Atlantic beach across the street is no more than a 30-second walk on a small wooden boardwalk to the sand - and let me tell you, the beach is awesome...wide, very few people, with nice soft bands of sand, as well as a broad firmer part where you can jog, ride the bikes, walk, etc. We were there in mid-October and the ocean water temperature was really perfect. Also, the house/beach are far away from all the high rises to the north and south, and the beach is very clean. The house has an attached garage which our large car could easily fit in, or you could put several motorcycles in there. There is also a circular driveway in front, where I suppose you could park vehicles.
The seemed responsive and pleasant and it was easy to do business with them.
The Big Problem:
Our vacation ended!
Our family of 5 plus my dad enjoyed a wonderful week in this 4 BR home in Ponce Inlet. The owners were quick to respond to any query and the house has everything you need for a week at the beach. We loved being within walking distance to the very private beach. Everyone slept very comfortably in the comfy beds and the multiple dens gave us plenty of options for tv watching in the evenings. We visited the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse again and loved being so close to Boondocks, one of our most favorite restaurants in the area. We ate at Inlet Harbor and Down the Hatch as well and highly recommend both to future guests. We love Ponce Inlet and hope to retire to this area ourselves one day in the future..
Enjoyed our week at this lovely house. Went with my family of four, my parents and brother and my teenage daughter's friend. Had plenty of room for all 8 of us. Layout was great, only issue (not really an issue though) was the shared bathroom between the master and guest room. Only way to get out of guest room was through bathroom, just had to make sure the teenage girls knew there was someone in the bathroom so they didn't come in. Pool was perfect size and temperature was perfect for us, nice and warm. Kitchen was well equipped. Very easy to walk across the street to the beach. Very private beach, no crowds. Close proximity to drive to attractions in Daytona.
We stayed at this home with our friends and both of our children and had the best time! The house is laid out perfectly for couples with young children. You are so close to the beach and it's a very quiet part of the beach. The house was very well kept and clean. The pool was beautiful and clean as well. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking to stay near the Daytona beach area. We can not wait to book this rental again next year!
I went on this vacation to get away from life's stress and believe me, it is a beautiful sanctuary of peaceful joy and serenity! From the stunning beach, restraunts, pool, accomodations and activities this is THE PLACE to go. Thank you Jane and Scott for sharing your home with those of us looking to get away from everyday life. Cannot wait to come back.
1.5 hours to Disneyworld, Seaworld and other these parks. Very close to Daytona Beach Amusement Park, Daytona International Airport, Daytona Speedway, Daytona Indoor flea market, three miniature golf courses.
