The log house was a magnificent home, impeccably clean and well appointed in gorgeous surroundings. The home was delightful and we really never wanted to leave, we only wish we could have stayed longer! The host Fisher was extremely hospitable and was lovely with our family. In fact we had some trouble finding the train station our first night and he waited patiently for us, took us to dinner and the grocery all till very late worrying about our happiness and comfort. I will never forget the warm hospitality we received. It made the biggest difference in our travels and my family felt like they met a friend. he was excellent with kids and the house was a charming adventure for my children as well!

Our tour was amazing the next day booked with Fisher. We saw and did things most would not if booking a standard tour. We loved the countryside the music box museum the farm and the amazing dessert and tea place. The onsen and dinner were a perfect ending to a fabulous and memorable day! The next day we got to see more of the city and shop in fun places . I know that Fisher would have met our every request if only we had more time in Japan. He was a most gracious and informative host with a true passion for the area and the property.

The Kobe experience was a highlight of our trip and we highly recommend it with five star recommendation. We hope to return to Japan and book our travels with this once in a lifetime experience. It was simply amazing!
