A traditional Guest house build 200 years ago which belongs to my family since ,is fully restored using the techniques and materials of the past.
Large double windows allow the sea view to the guest. An attractive marble finished shower room between the bedrooms, a stone fireplace and a cosy kitchen, make this house a tranquil retreat for a family or group of friends.
For a larger group of guests, you can see my other listing, the small house, (for 2 people) which is also available and is precisely under.
The main advantage of this house is the small distance from the port (5-6min) slow walking, and the sea view.
Hydra is very popular island because of its picturesque capital, full of red-tiled houses and stone-paved narrow alleys and attends a lot of tourist each year.
The flat was not exactly the same as the pictures showed.
On the photos, there was a terrace but in fact there wasn' t any for this flat and I' ve chosen this flat for the terrace.
Then, there wasn' t any oven neither microwave oven in the kitchen, only 3 knives and when we arrived, there was a wet used towel hung on the shower door.
We were very disappointed because of all these inconveniences and I' ve regretted to have rent this flat.
Be careful before renting it. Don' t trust in the photo, there' s no terrace for it.
