Tina apartment is ideal for people that want to be in the heart of Athens and feel comfortable with the area. It is a spacious tidy apartment close to lots of cafes, restaurants and shops. Syntagma Square is about 2 km away. Kallimarmaro Stadium where the Olympic games of 1896 took place is only a 10 minute walk. The National Garden is a 15' walk, a tropical paradise in the heart of Athens. Finally, the Acropolis with its brand new museum is 2.5 km away. Pagrati is served very well by public transport. Trams 2, 4 and 11 plus buses can be used to commute from and too Syntagma Sq (Athens Centre). A few minutes walk away are 2 supermarkets and numerous other shops such as bakeries, fruit & veg shops, pharmacies, take-away.
Please note that there is a 25 euros charge if our guests arrive after 22.30 due to lack of public transport at the time. Departure and arrival times are usually flexible unless we have guests arriving and departing on the same day. In that case we wish for our guests to be departing by 9.30 and our arriving guests to reach our apartment after 16.30 so we can have time to prepare and clean the apartment.
The owner was easy to contact and very responsive. I appreciate the great communication. The apartment was in a convenient area of town and a nice neighborhood. There were plenty of cafes (coffee shops) but I could not find any nearby upscale restaurants. Downtown Athens and the sights were about a 45 minute walk that we did every day. The interior was a little dated but very serviceable. Suggest that the lights in the common area of the building for the stairs and halls be set to stay on longer than they do.
Nice, clean, spacious apartment. Fine for a group of five. Only 2 km from Athens Centre.Very friendly host who provided alle information necessary before, during and after stay. Most kind.
Nice apartment, well situated in Athens. Lot of space for a family, everything you need is there!
We were a group of 5 friends visiting Athens, and we had an amazing stay at this apartment.
The apartment was big enough for all of us to sleep comfortably and it had everything we needed. There were supermarkets at a walking distance. It's in central Athens so we visited everything by foot and did not have to use public transportations (although Athens is quite big, so we walked a lot :) ).
Eleni was a great host, she replied to our mails very quickly, before, during and after our stay. Plus, inside the apartment there were indications on what to visit and on the important places in the area.
The area is very quiet, so it's also ideal for families.
Lovely and comfortable home away from home! The sights and metro are both walkable from the apartment, and there is a grocery store, coffee shop, and lovely little bakery very nearby. The owners were so welcoming, gave very easy to follow directions on getting there from the airport, and answered all of our questions promptly. We had a great stay!

The Tina flat is located in a very pleasant residential area of central Athens called Pagrati. The area is full of lively cafes and shops and many of the major sites can be visited on foot. Syntagma Square is about 2 km away, where every hour of the day the changing of the guard ceremony is performed by the Presidential Guard in front of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier between the square and parliament. Kallimarmaro Stadium where the Olympic games of 1896 took place is only a 10 minute walk. The National Garden is a 15' walk, a tropical paradise in the heart of Athens. Finally, the Acropolis with its brand new museum is 2.5 km away. In addition, Pangrati is served very well by public transport. Buses and trams pass very often and the Metro station is 15- 20 minute walk or 5 minutes by taxi, with connections to the airport.
Also, a local fresh fruit and vegetable market takes place every Friday morning in the Mets section of Pagrati.
