British Columbia Mountains Condo Rental Photos and Description

Studio, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4)

Come experience North America's largest lift serviced vertical and abundant powder skiing at Mount Revelstoke. Our home is a newly built insulated concrete construction with radiant heating. It is very warm and quiet.

The suite has a fully equipped kitchen, open concept living room with leather reclining chairs, private hot tub in a treed yard. An on-mountain ski locker is included free of charge.

This suite is suited to families and quiet mature adults. The property and neighbourhood do not lend themselves to loud or late night parties.

Revelstoke Mountain Resort features 1,263 hectares (3,121 acres) of lift-accessed terrain with a descent of 1,713 vertical meters (5,620 feet) - the highest in North America. It has two high-speed quad chairs, an eight-passenger gondola and a dedicated beginner slope with Magic Carpet conveyor lift. New amenities at the base of the mountain include a multi-grade beginner slope & Turtle Creek Tube Park serviced by a new Magic Carpet Lift... The Rockford Bar & Grill full service restaurant..Wino: The Wine Bar après ski venue.... Retail and rental shops, & lift ticket and skier services. The lift-accessed Mid-Mountain Lodge features stunning views, a self-serve restaurant, espresso bar, & a deck with a barbeque. Cat skiing and heli-skiing are available.

Mount Revelstoke National Park s adjacent to the City of Revelstoke. The 26-KM Meadows-in-the-Sky Parkway winds through forests of cedar and hemlock, spruce & fir to the subalpine wildflower meadows and the summit of Mount Revelstoke. This paved mountain road offers the only opportunity in the Canadian national park system for private vehicles to access a mountaintop environment. Winter is the dominant season and lingers on the summit until July or even August. During the brief summer, the mountaintop explodes into color when its wildflower meadows bloom in mid-August.

Great place in Revelstoke!

  • 5 of 5

A couple of buddies and I decided to take a few days and cruise the roads around Revelstoke on Harleys, leaving the heat of Texas behind us. We chose Mike and Paula's place on the south side of town (very close to the ski slopes), to take advantage of a quiet neighborhood setting, but with easy access to downtown Revelstoke for restaurants, grocery stores, and shops. This property is accurately described on the Home Away website, and I would happily recommend it to my family members.

The place was spotless and has all the amenities required for a relaxing vacation. We spent most mornings and evenings sitting in the outside patio area during the coolest parts of the day. Paula greeted us when we arrived, but everything was ready for our visit. Mike and Paula were both available to us during our stay if we had any questions, but they also respected our privacy.

I would highly recommend this property to anyone (families included) who want a quiet, beautiful, peaceful stay in the Revelstoke area. Thank you both for the accommodations and your hospitality. We will be back to see you!

Steve

Great rental for a ski vacation!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed with two couples in the basement suite - very bright, extremely well maintained and clean. The kitchen is huge and fantastic - just about every item you would ever need for cooking is there. The hot tub was clean and just outside the door, the beds were very comfortable and appliances were almost all brand new. The washer/dryer is very helpful for when you're spending a lot of time at the ski hill. Can't say enough about the mountain, which is extremely close. The locker in the lodge at the base is also very helpful, no spending time bringing your gear back and forth. Excellent value and a great welcome meal. Thank you!

Clean, Modern, Close to the hills

  • 5 of 5

We stayed as a group of three guys. The apartment is very clean and modern. It is a basement suite, and the floors are concrete, but heated so it was very cozy. Large windows bring in ample light. Extremely well insulated, couldn't hear a sound which made for good sleep. The welcome meal was a very nice touch. Plenty of towels, good WiFi, extremely well equipped kitchen, bathroom, and facilities were perfect for all our needs, and we took advantage of the dryer for our wet ski clothes. Private hot tub at the end of the day was an awesome way to unwind after the hills. The ski hill is about 5 minutes away, and the town is about 8-10 minutes away.

We are picky and can't really find anything to fault here. Would certainly book again if heading to the area. The hosts were extremely professional. As my first VRBO transaction, I was thoroughly impressed. As mentioned in the other reviews, the dog is extremely friendly and well mannered, and does roam freely. One of our group isn't an animal lover though, but the rest of us liked the homely feel.

We certainly recommend any of the in-town restaurants. Although rather pricey, they do cater to the ski tourists. We visited Chubby Funsters (Pub setting). We tried Village Idiot but it was completely full both nights (times ranging 5-7pm). We had an excellent meal at 112 (inside the Regent Hotel). There are plenty of ski shops in the village, and the employees are very knowledgeable. Revelstoke skiing was excellent, although very advanced (not really a family place). Make the trek up Lemming Line to the North Bowl for a run or two if there is snowfall overnight for some phenomenal powder and scenery.

lovely hosts and a wonderful condo

  • 5 of 5

This is our second time staying with Mike and Paula. They are exceptional hosts and their condo couldn't be more ideal for a group of avid skiers. Their one-year old lab 'Elvis' was also a welcome addition and made us dog lovers feel right at home. *Note: Elvis does not stay IN the condo, however, he is around the yard and incredibly friendly and well behaved.

Thanks again for everything you guys!

Perfect ski getaway

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay. The place is perfectly situated 5min from both the mountain and downtown Revelstoke. The apartment was excellently furnished, (including a very well equipped kitchen!) and very spacious. The welcome slow-cooker meal was amazing and greatly appreciated. The hot tub was great after a day of skiing. We would definitely book again for our next trip to Revelstoke.

Great accommodation

  • 5 of 5

Wonderful clean, spacious 2 bedroom basement apartment. Kitchen was well stocked and plenty of room to spread out into the living room.

Hot tub was great to come back to after alpine touring all day:)) The slow cooker stew was such a nice touch after driving.

Would absolutely recommend to friends/family and stay their again.
