The Owner purchased this condo in 2011
This condo was perfect for us! The view could NOT be beat! We ate breakfast and lunch almost everyday on the balcony, overlooking the AMAZING view of the lake, pool, and mountains. The condo was clean and very well stocked. We especially appreciated the generous fruit bowl. In fact, it was so well stocked, that I would suggest to future renters to first go to the condo to do a quick inventory, before heading out to stock up on groceries and necessities. For instance, we bought non-stick spray, but found there were already 3 of them there! We enjoyed the convenience of the store in the village for quick buys we forgot at the grocery store. The owner was great to work with and quickly got back to us regarding any questions.
We loved how close we were to Lake Mead, which we did not even know ahead of time. A word of caution to anyone though - it costs $20 to enter Lake Mead, even if you are just driving through. The pass was good for a week though, so we are glad we bought the pass, as the views were amazing and a nice way to drive to the Valley of Fire.
I just have a couple of concerns, but none of which have anything to do with the owner or condo. One is that the village was pretty sparse. We were disappointed that so many businesses had closed down. We were glad there was a place to rent kayaks and pedal boats though, as this was a wonderful way to explore and get a bit of exercise.
The other concern is when we arrived we were told at the front desk that the pool was closed that day, for tree trimming. After a long day of traveling, lounging by the pool had been our plan. Later we found out that the nearby Luna side was also a part of this resort, so we could have asked if we could have used their pool. I don't know if we could have, but it was not suggested to us by the staff at the desk.
Finally, my husband was a bit disappointed with the length of drive to the strip. As this was not the primary purpose of our trip, it was not a big problem. However, for those wanting to go to the strip each day, this place might be a bit far. I, on the other hand, appreciated being away from all the "craziness" that goes along with staying on the strip, so it just depends on your preference.
All in all, we would not hesitate to rent here again!
This was our first visit to LV - and we made a conscious decision to stay off the Vegas 'strip'. We absolutely loved our stay at Helena's condo in the Hendersen Lake Las Vegas region. Tastefully decorated; clean, well stocked, beautiful views from the Balcony onto the resort and lake/mountain; great patio furniture; and Helena's personal touches of fruit, wine, OJ, and Helena's customer service was second to none! We loved it so much that we changed our vacation plans to return 4 days after our first stay to complete our vacation. Thanks so much Helena, we're looking forward to returning one day 👍𣐊

The condo and property were just as the pictures showed. Dining was excellent and within walking distance of the condo. The only reason I gave the property a 4 star review was due to the fact that one of the main reasons we stayed at this location was the advertised shopping which was supposed to be in the same location as the restaurants. The only shopping was a food market in the lower level of the condo. The food market was very nice but we thought there would be little shops for my girlfriend and her daughter to shop at. I would stay at this location again as the owner was very nice and left a few staples food wise in the condo for us. The bottle of wine was also a nice touch!
We really enjoyed our stay. We visit Henderson regularly since we have family here and we have stayed in many different hotels around town and on/off the strip. This was by far the best accommodations we've enjoyed so far. The view of lake and mountains was beautiful. The condo was tastefully decorated with high-end appliances and all of comforts of home - including a lovely welcome fruit basket and wine. We look forward to returning when the weather cools off so we can take advantage of the many bike trails nearby.
