Enjoy wooded vistas and lake views with your morning coffee from the deck of this stylish condo with room for four nestled among the tree-carpeted slopes of Tahoe National Forest, just four minutes north of Carnelian Bay. Inside and out, amenities abound! From the CD player, iPod dock, and WiFi, to the free access to a pool, hot tub, and sauna, this beautiful condo is comfortable, and conveniently located between the shores of nearby Lake Tahoe, and world-class resorts.
Intimate, yet roomy, this condo has a wood fireplace for those chilly alpine mornings and winter days. It's perfect for a romantic getaway. The decor is understated yet classy, with just enough tasteful artworks and artifacts adorning the walls, and a design that makes intelligent use of space. Have a seat on the soft couch and watch a cable show or a DVD on the big flat screen. Though you'll be just minutes away from some great eateries along the Tahoe shore, this compact yet fully equipped kitchen will have everything you'll need to create a meal, including a microwave, dishwasher, and gorgeous granite countertops, perfect for prep! There's even a coffee grinder, so bring along some of your favorite beans.
The absence of a formal bedroom speaks to the smart design of the condo and adds to its living area. Instead, you'll bed down in a comfortable queen bed in the loft, that's also stylishly decorated with tasteful art works. Two kids, or that couple who've come along with you, can pull out the sofa bed for a great night's sleep. In addition to a full bathroom, there's also a half-bath, cutting down on wait times. A washer and dryer is also located on site, so there'll be no trips to the Laundromat.
With so much to do both at the condo and in the Tahoe area, it might be tough to decide what to do first! After all, there's the pool, the pool table, and the steamy warmth of the sauna at the clubhouse. When the sun shines, Lake Tahoe's many beaches beckon and they're just a short drive away where you can also enjoy a romantic meal at a restaurant overlooking beautiful Carnelian Bay. Rent a paddleboard or hop on a sightseeing charter, explore the lake while someone else navigates. Skiers and snowboarders will love it here! They'll be just 12 miles from the slopes of renowned resorts like Alpine, Northstar, and Squaw.
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
Very nice place to stay. Beautiful view of the lake and close to Kings beach and Tahoe City. Comfortable, clean and quiet.
Great space, perfect for a weekend getaway for 2-4 people. Seamless booking, peaceful location, about a 20 minute walk to the 7-11 and the pizza place. Excellent fireplace, small deck/balcony, cable tv & netflix. Couldnt have asked for a better experience! Hope to return soon!
This was a perfect place for a relaxing mother-son weekend in Tahoe. Loved the galley kitchen with counter seating because it's efficient and perfect for cooking meals while conversing. We ate comfortably at the nearby round table (seats 4). Also loved the cozy sitting area in the living room, which was well lit and comfortable for hanging out, playing board games, and reading. The queen bed and full bath in the 2nd floor loft space were just right with a clean, working shower. It helped to have a half bath downstairs, too. I believe the couch is a pull-out bed, so the condo would work with more people. The main floor gets really nice light in the morning. (We couldn't open the main blinds, but there was still plenty of light from overhead.) The location was good, too; quiet and off the main road. We also enjoyed the recreation center every night, which is a quick 1-minute drive back toward the main road. The video games are outdated, but billiards was a lot of fun (bring quarters). The hot tub was nice and hot, so getting out in the cold air wasn't a problem. We were bummed the tennis courts had already been closed by the time we arrived on Nov. 11th, but were able to find good courts that still had nets about 15 minutes away in Incline Village. During the day, we enjoyed the nearby beaches and hiking trails (although we could have used some more info on the location/duration of the trails as the notebook in the condo is limited). Safeway groceries are very conveniently located in either direction from the condo. It took us a while to find the entrance to the condo complex, but we finally figured out we had to make the turn next to the mini-golf place. If you arrive at night, it will be harder to see as it gets pretty dark. The one thing I couldn't figure out at the condo is that, in the daytime, it sounded like raindrops were falling on the roof when it wasn't raining outside. We really did enjoy a perfect weekend getaway and are thinking of returning to the condo next month as a family of four.
We had planned a weekend here so we could attend a family members wedding. So quiet and cozy, we had a blast here just relaxing and enjoying the scenery before joining the festivities out on the bay
This is our second visit to this exact unit. For us it's all about north shore location and this is a great hideaway for a quiet and relaxing getaway, especially during the offseason. The decor may not be modern, but it was cozy, comfortable and quiet which is what matter most to us. The accommodations were great and the only thing they didn't have supplied was laundry soap to allow us to bedding laundry as we left. Otherwise, it was a perfect visit. Only minutes from King's Beach and all of our favorite North Shore hangouts. There was even a challenging par course down the road which made for a great workout. Will definitely visit again.
