Enjoy wooded vistas and lake views with your morning coffee from the deck of this stylish condo with room for four nestled among the tree-carpeted slopes of Tahoe National Forest, just four minutes north of Carnelian Bay. Inside and out, amenities abound! From the CD player, iPod dock, and WiFi, to the free access to a pool, hot tub, and sauna, this beautiful condo is comfortable, and conveniently located between the shores of nearby Lake Tahoe, and world-class resorts.
Intimate, yet roomy, this condo has a wood fireplace for those chilly alpine mornings and winter days. It's perfect for a romantic getaway. The decor is understated yet classy, with just enough tasteful artworks and artifacts adorning the walls, and a design that makes intelligent use of space. Have a seat on the soft couch and watch a cable show or a DVD on the big flat screen. Though you'll be just minutes away from some great eateries along the Tahoe shore, this compact yet fully equipped kitchen will have everything you'll need to create a meal, including a microwave, dishwasher, and gorgeous granite countertops, perfect for prep! There's even a coffee grinder, so bring along some of your favorite beans.
The absence of a formal bedroom speaks to the smart design of the condo and adds to its living area. Instead, you'll bed down in a comfortable queen bed in the loft, that's also stylishly decorated with tasteful art works. Two kids, or that couple who've come along with you, can pull out the sofa bed for a great night's sleep. In addition to a full bathroom, there's also a half-bath, cutting down on wait times. A washer and dryer is also located on site, so there'll be no trips to the Laundromat.
With so much to do both at the condo and in the Tahoe area, it might be tough to decide what to do first! After all, there's the pool, the pool table, and the steamy warmth of the sauna at the clubhouse. When the sun shines, Lake Tahoe's many beaches beckon and they're just a short drive away where you can also enjoy a romantic meal at a restaurant overlooking beautiful Carnelian Bay. Rent a paddleboard or hop on a sightseeing charter, explore the lake while someone else navigates. Skiers and snowboarders will love it here! They'll be just 12 miles from the slopes of renowned resorts like Alpine, Northstar, and Squaw.
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
Great little place for a family on a budget. Lake views, quiet and close to tahoe city and the slopes. Sofa bed is a little worn but fine for kids.
The place was beautiful and perfect for a party of 4! My friends and I skied at North Star and Squaw and the place was equidistance between the two mountains. It had gorgeous views of the lake and the kitchen was stocked with everything you needed. The pull out couch has a strange dip, but if you just sleep at the foot of the bed it works out! Book this place because you will not regret it!
Unit 150 was beautiful and perfect for a party of 4! Had great views and very clean!
This is the perfect one bedroom loft for a couple or solo traveler. My boyfriend and I were there for a week of skiing at Squaw/Alpine/Heavenly 2/28 - 3/6, 2017. The location was convenient to Squaw/Alpine. The drive down 89S to Heavenly was spectacular. The unit has everything you need and is comfortable and immaculate. The furnishings are dated but charming. The kitchen has been updated and the counter/bar makes for easy sitting, eating and computing. The one weekend during our stay it snowed 2 ft plus. The parking lot and road out was cleared within 24h. Having an AWD vehicle was necessary - in my opinion. We did not use the spa facilities. The condo was a quick drive to a Safeway and restaurants in Carnelian Bay and Tahoe City. Price wise this condo was an absolute steal considering prices in the area. I hope to be back again.
The place we stayed was in great condition. Well furnished and nice kitchen to cook off of. We also had a nice view of the lake. The unit is also close to major routes (267 and 89) that can get you onto 80. Also close to a bunch of eateries.
The downside during out stay is that next to the unit is a very tall tree that kept dropping large chunks of wet snow on top of the roof. The sound of the impact made it feel like the roof was going to cave in. This was in a middle of a snow storm that lasted throughout the night and needless to say, we didn't sleep well. Otherwise it's a great place to stay for the Spring, Summer and Fall seasons.
The smart TV was a plus, was able to connect to my phone and watch Netflix.
Very cozy and we'll built unit, the pizza place at the bottom of the hill could be walked and had great food.
Got turned around coming in, the manager took the time to show us to the unit, very nice of her.
