Our calendar is always up to date, making it easy to check your dates and book your vacation with us! Come and relax and enjoy the great location of our cabin in the Flume Canyon area of the beautiful Upper Canyon (not in the Upper Canyon itself). Well kept, clean and comfortable with everything you will need for your vacation. Close to town but away from the noise and traffic, our home is great location for a family or friends to gather to enjoy the sparkling clean, super secluded steamy eight person hot tub after a day of skiing, snowboarding, shopping, golf or site seeing. We have free secured WiFi, a large deck to enjoy your coffee early in the morning while you watch the deer, or bbq with family and friends outside. Our cabin is a pleasant walk or quick drive into Up-Town or Mid-Town Ruidoso's cafe's, restaurants, shopping and nightlife; or enjoy a short walk to and through the historic Upper Canyon. Just a quick drive to the casino where you can rent paddle boats, dine, golf or gamble (about 3 miles) and easy drive to Ski Apache turn off (about 5 miles)

Our home features two spacious bedrooms, each with very comfortable king beds and flat screen TV's for viewing movies on provided DVD players. We use only 100% cotton sheets.

We have two bathrooms - one a full bath in the master bedroom with two sinks; the other with an over sized shower and dressing area, two sinks and heat lamps for your relaxation.

A fully equipped kitchen has everything you need except the groceries! We provide Keurig K-Cup and regular coffee maker for your convenience.

The family room has a sofa and loveseat, 50" flat screen TV with Cable TV and ROKU so you have 1000's of TV shows and free movies to choose from.

Full size washer and dryer, plus plenty of towels for your use.

Our home has plenty of space inside and out. It is Clean. It is Comfortable. Enjoy the daily wildlife visits right outside your door, you should see plenty of deer but keep your camera handy, we occasionally get an Elk or two, and the occasional Bear. This is a very comfortable cabin a very convenient area.

Pet Notice: We welcome your dog (no other pets allowed), but please keep in mind, pets are not allowed on any bedding, you must pick up after your pet inside and out and you must do a quick wash of the sofa pet covers prior to your departure.

If you are looking for new and fancy, please continue to browse the site. If you want clean, comfortable, spacious classic Old Ruidoso, we'd love to have you as our guest.

About Doris

I manage this property for my son. He is in the US Air Force and stationed overseas. He bought this property in November 2012 because he loves spending time in Ruidoso when he has leave and can come home to relax and visit with friends and family. We hope you enjoy the home and the Village as much as we do. Doris

Perfect for our family

  • 5 of 5

In the 15 years we have been coming to Ruidoso, this is definitely one of the cleanest and more comfortable cabins we've rented. One that we will definitely rent again. Nice location and very easy to walk or drive into town. It had everything we needed, is very spacious, though very deceiving from outside, its much larger than it looks. Upkept well. The hut tub maintenance man came during our visit and the lawn was mowed the day we were leaving. The hot tub in the courtyard was wonderful after hiking the Sierra Blancas and a visit to White Sands. Nice outside area to relax and let the kids run in the yard. Saw two elk at the top of the back yard, dozens of deer every day and even a cinnamon colored juvenile bear just down the street. Very pleased.

Tall Pines are beautiful, but

  • 3 of 5

This property is ample size (somewhat ill arranged) in quiet, convenient area. The outside deck with table and comfortable chairs was a delightful place for morning coffee. Deer came up to greet us most days. King size beds were comfortable, showers not so much. Electrical outlets sparse, take an extension cord for shaver if you need to see in the mirror. And be sure you bring your own toilet tissue, so you don't have to make trip to the store. No counter space in kitchen.

Owner's Response: I'm sorry you felt that cabin was not up to par. If there was an issue with the showers, I'd love to know what it is so we can remedy the situation. Although I've never had a complaint about the counter space in the kitchen, the photos on the website do accurately reflect the kitchen and the rest of the home. I am glad you enjoyed the deck. My son (who owns the home) was home from deployment recently and built it with his dad and brother, he will be glad you enjoyed it. Please note, in your initial email with your access codes, it does ask you to bring additional paper products as needed and what we provide. I apologize if you did not see it, its just under the access code, one of the first items mentioned. And we do provide 2 extension cords (in a kitchen drawer) for the convenience of our guests. Thank you again for being our guest

Clean and well maintained property

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our vacation and especially the cabin. It was clean and well maintained, the location is excellent. We walked to town for dinner in the cool evenings, walked down to the upper canyon for a stroll and to explore. Doris communicated very well with us but never bothered us like some do, but she was available to answer any questions before we arrived. Love the beds, love the privacy of the hot tub.
