Loved the cabin. Well maintained. Driveway needs some work.

The cabin is indeed rustic. You forget you're close to town and have neighbors. Being awakened by cows outside my bedroom window added to the charm. The loft is perfect. Weather was good. Was not impressed with eating establishments in town, couldn't get into most of them. Otherwise, great trip.

Very rough and a too expensive for the area

  • 3 of 5

Pretty rough place. Beds felt like you would break them. Too expensive for the area. Refrigerator was so old and noisy we had to unplug every night in order to sleep. No oven? Don’t plan on cooking anything.

Overall impression was it's a very charming little home.

  • 4 of 5

The home was very cute and very clean. We were a group of 5 girls and my main concern was to have at least 2 bathrooms. While there are two bathrooms in the home one of the bathrooms only has a toilet. There is no sink and no shower. The "tub" has no faucet, the water only comes out of jets on the inside of the tub. Didn't really understand the point of the second bathroom and if you're looking for 2 bath this will not work. Not really sure how functional the kitchen is for cooking but we were happy with the coffee maker. The second bedroom is a space upstairs which got VERY hot during the day. We kept the home cool while we were out and by the time we were ready to sleep it was cool and it worked out fine. We really enjoyed our stay but I just felt the need to clarify some specifics about the home which weren't made very clear to me before booking. Also be careful of mosquitos while on the front porch. They are aggressive!

The cabin was great!! Charming and rustic with an amazing view!

  • 4 of 5

This cabin was wonderful! It was rustic and cozy and so comfortable! My husband and I slept in the loft upstairs, and the bed was very comfortable.

We loved sitting outside on the front porch enjoying the view, and got to see a herd of cows and their babies amble around and graze in the pasture across the street. Also got to watch deer graze in the pasture. Only thing that would have made it better is if the coffee pot would have worked!!!!! My husband had to run into town every morning to buy a cup of coffee...very annoying!! But, I did report the problem, so hopefully no other visitors have to endure that torture every morning!!! LOL.

I highly recommend this cute little cabin, and I will definitely stay there again.

Nice, but overpriced

  • 4 of 5

The cabin was cute but needs work for the price. When we arrived the yard looked like it had not been mowed in weeks, the grass was real high . We wanted to use the grill and sit outside but the grass was so tall and the chairs were rusted. We loved the old look of cabin but the it needs some cracks filled in so bugs can't get in. I can say the beds were clean and had plenty of towels for our 6 people. Loved Fredericksburg !!! we had a great family visit.

Sisters weekend

  • 5 of 5

My sisters and I stayed here for a girls weekend and this little house was super cute. Very rustic and charming. We loved the front porch with the great scenery, we spent most of our time out there.
