What a lovely 5 starts private staty

  • 5 of 5

Can't describe how fascinating the first impression was when we were driving uphill through the narrow drive path looking for the lodge... spectacular feelings when we sighted the charming 360 view from the top .. we were more happy when we stepped inside the lodge, what a clean, nice smell, everything a family might think of for a nice vacation.. everything was there as described .. my kids and my wife couldn't be happy more ... they refused to leave even for a bite :) ... it was charming.. highly recommended for a vacation or timeout... Alisa and her husband Brent were responsive and supportive all the time.. not to forget the lovely town they have and friendly faces you get as a stranger from all the people there... 5 stars for the lodge, Alisa, location, town and everything.. it's my first option for another vacation.. P.S. make sure to look for the weather forecast and be prepared for the bugs outside.. Good Luck and all the best!

Peavine Lodge is the ideal setting to retreat from the world!

  • 5 of 5

Upon arrival, we found the Lodge in immaculate order. Of all the vacation properties I have ever visited, this one is set apart in terms of attention to detail! There were plenty of activities on the property to keep us entertained! We enjoyed watching wild turkeys feed outside the windows in the morning. We took a couple of excursions to nearby Cloudland Canyon and Rocktown. Both are worth the drive!

Thank you for allowing us into your well planned vacation home! We hope to return!

Pictures Do Not Do Justice

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely girls weekend getaway and enjoyed every minute. The pictures online are good, but when you walk inside its just beautiful. The weekend that we stayed, it began to snow and we were worried that we wouldn't make it. Alisa kept us posted on the weather and even had her husband check the driveway to make sure we could make it up with no problems. Her communication was excellent. The snow was just the icing on top and made our cabin stay feel even more cozy with the fireplace going. We also enjoyed the hot tub. The kitchen is spacious and equipped with pretty much anything you can think of and has a little sitting area with a great view where we all sat and had our coffee in the mornings. This is a perfect getaway and we never wanted to leave. Alisa was kind enough to let us stay a few hours past check out because she did not have any new guests for a couple of days. I would love to come back when it is warmer to try out the pool and grill! Overall, I would definitely book with Alisa at Peavine again.

Wonderful ,peaceful get away.

  • 4 of 5

Loved the rustic yet modern cabin. Loved the peaceful setting and beautiful view. A little soundproofing between the upstairs and downstairs would be nice but no other cons. Overall great get away!

About Alisa Bigham

Andrew and Angela Clark live in Hampshire, United Kingdom with their three children Charlie, George and Elliott. Two dogs Stanley (Terrier) and Maggie (Shih Tzu).

Alisa Bigham purchased this cabin in 2005

Why Alisa Bigham chose Trion

We chose the North-West Georgia Area after a wonderful family vacation back in 2003 just a stones throw from where our cabin is located. The scenery, community, everything seemed so perfect. During our vacation we purchased the spectacular 36 acres and endeavoured to build our perfect 'get away'. The cabin was finished in 2005 and since then we have had many enjoyable family vacations. We now want to share the many benefits the cabin and the surrounding area has to offer.

What makes this cabin unique

We love the community in this jewel of the North-West Georgia countryside; it still carries the traits of a by gone age. Close community, wonderful scenery and friendly folk fill the area. Our property is perfectly located on a hill top with stunning views; so sometimes the most needed adventure is simply a good book on the deck or by the pool.

Guestbook comments from the manager

Yet again, another relaxing stay at our beautiful cabin. Amazing weather, sunsets, pool time, shooting star watching, hummingbirds, cardinals on the bird feeder, trail walking, card games......great fun as always!

We highly recommend a boat cruise down the Tennessee river from Chattanooga. Beautiful sights and wildlife. There is a 'fall cruise' (leaflet in our information folder) which is supposed to bd amazing for any guests visting later in the year. There is a lovely man that works in the ticket office by pier 2 (Southern Belle) Chattanooga. He is a treasure chest of useful information on trips, free buses, places to park, baseball games. If your looking for fun things to do in Chattanooga, he's your man.

Enjoy our new bed in the upstairs master bedroom, you will get lost in it; its bliss!

With love,

Andrew, Angie & Elliott
