This charming 1940s era flat is centrally located in the Inner Sunset just steps from trendy Irving Street & 9th Ave retail corridor. The entrance to Golden Gate Park, UCSF Medical Center and convenient public transportation, including the N Judah line, are immediately adjacent. This flat is fully and comfortably furnished. Wifi, cable TV, washing machine and dryer are available onsite. There are 2 bedrooms, each with a comfy queen bed (and an air mattress and additional linens in the closet in case an unexpected overnight guest appears, like a grand child). Large closets and drawer space are plentiful. There is one bathroom with separate shower and tub, fully equipped with linens, and a full kitchen with all you need to prepare meals at home if desired. And, we have a secure garage parking space with automated door for your car & bikes with an additional tandem driveway space for your visitors. This flat is spacious, quiet, comfortable, charming and clean.

We like the ease of the neighbhorhood. It's very much the city, with just enough distance from downtown hustle bustle. The serenity of Golden Gate Park is a welcome departure.
This is a charming flat with lots of San Francisco character. The bedrooms have a view of the well cared for yard. The flat is spacious, offers privacy, and a lot of conveniences.
Our party of four had a very comfortable, enjoyable stay at this home. You cannot beat the location for access to one of the best neighborhoods in SF for dining out, shopping, or accessing Golden Gate Park and public transportation. It was also very convenient to have on-site parking for two vehicles, as well as laundry facilities.
There is gorgeous natural light throughout the home, and it is very spacious and comfortable. We had everything we needed; Erin provided all the essentials, and we could really make ourselves at home. It was also great to have a personal and friendly welcome upon our arrival from one of her friends. This home met and surpassed all our expectations for a home away from home, and we definitely hope to return. Thank you so much, Erin!
This apartment surpassed our expectations and was well appointed and clean. Erin had made additional touches by providing toiletries etc which we very useful. Great location - just 1 block to be able to take the Muni N line which can take you all the way to the Ferry Building in about half an hour. Great restaurants and supermarket are also very close. You can also easily walk to the Golden Gate park and Haight as well - which is definitely worth exploring for vintage clothing! Thanks For a great stay!
This is a lovely apartment in a very pleasant, convenient neighborhood. It's nicely laid out, pleasantly furnished and, when we got there, immaculately clean. Neither the kitchen nor the bathroom have been renovated, but they function, although the bathroom sink is awkward, being set low and having a very short faucet. The bed in the master bedroom is perfectly comfortable (we didn't use the other bed but it seemed fine) and at night the bedroom is as quiet as can be, so we slept quite well. We suggested to the owner that she get a dish drainer and tea kettle for the kitchen, which we missed. Dish soap, paper towels, and toilet paper are not provided, and none of these were left over from the previous tenant, so we had to go shopping as soon as we got there. The neighborhood is well supplied with restaurants and stores and Golden Gate Park is just a couple of blocks away. This is an excellent location if you use public transportation, as we did, because the N Judah line makes the trip downtown fast and easy. Note that the owner requires full payment in advance and offers no refunds under any circumstances, so you should be certain of your plans before booking.
We really enjoyed our stay here for our first family trip to San Francisco. The house was clean and the beds and pillows were so comfortable! I searched for a long time on VRBO and was very happy with our choice. It was definitely walking distance to the Judah line ( which we navigated successfully thanks to a google app and very helpful locals) It was also walking distance to the hidden garden staircase, (don't skip it and go all the way to the top for an incredible view!) and close to the park, although we drove, since we didn't make it there until our last morning on our way out. We didn't use our rental car much, so having a garage to park it in was also a great benefit. Erin was super nice to work with and so nice when we saw her during our stay. We would definitely recommend this location!
This place exceeded expectations. I would definitely stay here again. The photos are true to the apartment and all amenities were available as promised. It was clean, spacious and in great shape. The kitchen and linen closet were well stocked. The chairs and beds were comfortable. There is a decent selection of books for your reading pleasure. I could tell that Erin has put in a lot of thought into trying to make renters' stay enjoyable/comfortable. It is about a 30 minute drive from downtown attractions (accounting for traffic and the like) but that wasn’t an issue for us. We had a car, so the garage came in handy. As others have said, there are restaurants and grocery stores a short drive from the apartment. It was reasonably priced compared to other places we considered. Erin was quick to respond to all inquiries.
This is a charming and most comfortable apartment. Armed with a public transportation map, the convenience of the N Judah a half block away meant we could find our way anywhere we chose to go. On non-touring days, we could enjoy a walk to Golden Gate Park with all it has to offer. Really good restaurants were plentiful and shops were a kick. As it turned out, we borrowed a car so made welcome use of the garage for parking. The kitchen, dining and living room were so well equipped and lovely that we hosted dinner for family from nearby Oakland. Most importantly, the owner was available to let us know a scheduling snafu meant the exterior renovation of the home lagged into our scheduled visit. She refunded a generous portion of our payment to make up for the inconvenience. This act of generosity to ensure a happy stay was welcomed, yet unexpected. We left with such warm feelings for the owner, the apartment and its ideal location that we will definitely return. I am please to give our highest recommendation for the rental of this apartment. We felt like hip San Franciscans by the end of the week.
This home is in close proximity to UCSF Medical Center and is ideal for anyone wishing to be nearby the hospital while caring for a family member. The hospital is just a short walk or bus ride away.
We're also nearby Golden Gate Park, just 3 blocks to the 9th Avenue entrance. In nearby Golden Gate Park you'll find the Arboretum, California Academy of Sciences, DeYoung Museum of Art, Japanese Tea Garden, modern play grounds, a carousel, tennis courts, lawn bowling, archery, executive golf course, Conservatory of Flowers, and open space for running, roller blading, biking, sunning, or just walking in the park. Throughout the summer & fall GGP plays host to numerous music festivals, concerts, theatre, and athletic events.
We're also surrounded by a delicious selection of restaurants, cafes, and shopping, all within walking distance. Our favorites are Pomelo for global cuisine, Fresco for Peruvian, Pasquale's and Paxti's for pizza, Social Kitchen for burgers & fries, Nopalito for Mexican and San Tung for Chinese. We enjoy many others, but there are way too many too name! We also like Inner Fog Wine Bar where a good-tasting selection of wines, both domestic and imported, is offered in a cozy environment. On Sundays a charming Farmer Market is open in the parking lot that serves the 9th Avenue/Irving Street corridor. A lovely selection of fresh seasonal fruits, vegetables, and flowers is readily available, as well as local meats, cheeses, breads, olive oils, nuts, and other artisanal goods such as honey, soaps, and confections. We usually grab a coffee across the street at The Beanery & and an artisan pastry at Arizmendi before hitting the market. Shopping is plentiful in the immediate neighborhood and it's an easy walk to Cole Valley and Haight Ashbury for an even wider variety. It's also easy to jump on the N Judah muni line, just a half block from the front door, and explore the entire city. One of our favorite weekend activities is a long walk in the neighborhood, incorporating the many outdoor staircases that exist and offer breathtaking views of the city.
Ocean Beach, Crissy Fields, the Presidio, Lincoln & Harding Parks, Sausalito, Muir Woods, the bike trails of Marin County, Mt. Tamalpais, and the San Francisco Zoo provides the opportunity for many activities. It's also a short drive to the Sonoma and Napa Valley wine countries and the beach communities of West Marin.
