You know you deserve it. So, why fight the urge? Treat yourself to a claw foot tub in a spacious master bathroom, and a professional kitchen with high end appliances and granite countertops. You'll feel as decadent as a slice of chocolate cake dipped in gold that was mined on the moon. The great room, however, with its 47-inch TV, DVD player, and Bose speakers, is a bit much. It's like a basket of baby unicorns dipped in glitter. And, that's a little excessive.
This home is currently under-going some renovations. The garage will not be available for guests and there may be a bit of construction noise going on outside.

The home we stayed in was immaculate. The home was well stocked and really had a nice warm homey feel to it. The wood framing on the inside of the house is so beautiful and having a hot tub was a nice bonus. I loved the kitchen and the master bathroom has a excellent walk in shower and a claw foot tub that is to die for! Amazing house! My family and I had a great time.
My family of 9 (ages 9 months to 60 years old) had the most wonderful time at the Timber Peak Lodge. It was perfectly outfitted to meet our needs. We loved cooking dinners in the kitchen. It was well organized and full of gadgets and spices. I had mentioned in the reservation that we had a baby, so when we showed up there were 2 pack n plays as well as a highchair/booster seat. The garage apartment was a nice surprise. It was a quiet retreat from the rest of the house. If we had a car this house would have been a perfect location. If you plan to use the Free Ride Bus as your main mode of transportation, I recommend researching the routes & times before you arrive. My family was a little frustrated waiting around on the bus, but if I had better prepared them I think it would have been fine. That being said, my husband and I had no issue hopping on the bus to get up to peak 7 for skiing. On another note the back yard was great for the kids to play in the snow. Lastly, the house was immaculately clean.
Very, very strict and stingy with extra cleaning fees charged. Our group took special care to make sure the place was clean however we were charged for leaving decorative pillows in the wrong spot, having fingerprints on the windows (doors are made of windows) and evidence of sleeping on the floor (no one slept on the floor in our group) among other things. I have stayed in a lot of properties and have never experienced this.
Other than that, the place was great. Shuttle ride away from Breckenridge ski resort and easy to find. I recommend a stay here as long as you're willing to take an extra couple of hours in the morning to clean the place to the extent that you would expect a normal cleaning crew to clean.
We had a great time in Breckenridge this spring at Timber Peak Lodge. The bus stop was right around the corner. It was a short 5 minute ride to peak 8. The house was equipped with all of the kitchen items we needed. It was very nice and had several beds for our group of 15. I started to panic a little when we arrived because I had planned the sleeping arrangements and could not find beds for 4 of our group. We finally found a door in the garage that led to a little room with the beds for 4.
We really enjoyed our stay.
I stayed here with 9 of our friends for a college reunion and skiing. The kitchen was well stocked, bedrooms were very nice and we were able to have our own bathrooms. Hottub was warm. The only issue we had was the driveway was not plowed when we arrived. The management company was extremely responsive. Breck had been receiving record amounts of snow and Vail schools were closed. The driveway did get plowed by the end of the evening. It is not close enough to walk to the slopes, but the bus line is very close. One bedroom was off the garage and you could not access from the house unless you went into the garage. The photos accurately depicted the property and was very clean. We would stay here again!
