This 1100 square feet, two-bedroom one-bath flat may be rented separately as part of the three-in-one executive residence or combined with one or both of the other 600 square feet, one-bedroom, one-bath flats that are located on the property. There are sweeping bay views from the living, dining and kitchen windows and there is Old World charm in the interior finishes and furniture that was chosen. This beautiful residence has had its interiors totally renovated from the ground up sparing no expense and the attention to detail is comparable to a 5 star hotel. Newly updated with hardwood floors and rich earth-toned interiors.
This flat has custom Old World-style antiqued cabinets, stainless steel appliances, a chef’s dream kitchen and 2 flat-screen HDTVs. All of the furniture is high-end, combining style and comfort with the look of Europe with a modern flair.
Located on a quiet tree-lined street and within walking distance of Asilomar State Beach, Pebble Beach’s famed 17 Mile Drive and the Pacific Grove golf links, the flat is also a short 5-minute drive to the heart of downtown Pacific Grove, with antique shops, restaurants and boutiques to explore.
Large west-facing windows not only let in light, but also give visitors superb views of the Monterey Bay. During the winter months, migrating whales can be glimpsed on the waters of the bay, and any time of year, sunsets and night time vistas of twinkling lights around the bay add romance to the scene.
Beach daisies and juniper bushes surround the flat, in addition to the native live oaks and Monterey pines that frame the views.
Upon your arrival you will be greeted with complementary wine and cheese, tickets for a wine tasting at Scheid Vineyards’ tasting room in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea and a basket of local information. An assigned concierge vacation house manager is available to assist you during your stay. We have also provided spa amenities in the bathrooms, spa robes and beach gear.
Relax in front of the rustic stone gas fireplace with a 50” flat-screen HDTV positioned above. Bordered by a sectional queen sleeper sofa that sleeps 1-2 children and ottoman coffee table for additional seating, it’s perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. For dinner or drinks, move either to the round dining room table with bay views, or take refreshments outside to a private deck with a gas barbecue grill and patio seating. There is a built-in wall cabinet with granite counter top that holds wine and champagne glasses for easy entertaining. The kitchen, which has state-of-the-art stainless steel appliances, custom cabinetry and granite counter tops, includes convenient counter seating with bar stools, an easy way to enjoy breakfast, lunch or quick snacks.
Each bedroom offers a king bed with a memory foam topper that can be converted into twins. The bathroom is highlighted with tumbled travertine floors and complementary tile work in the shower-over-tub enclosure. Guest room #2 (not master) has a TV. Additional sleeping is available on the queen sleeper sofa for 1-2 children.
For additional accommodations: Monarch Suite and Regent Suite (#3639) are located on the same floor. Regent Suite has a mirrored twin above it, Admiral Suite (#3640). One, two or all three units can be rented separately or together.
There is a small garage for each unit and a covered one-car carport for Monarch Suite guests.

Outstanding - would go back again any time!
This property exceeded our expectations! Everything we needed was readily at hand and the property was as advertised. The check-in and check-out was efficiency handled and the location was lovely. We were close to excellent restaurants and attractions such as the Monterey Aquarium and 17 Mile Drive. We chose a rainy day to visit the charming Lighthouse Theater in town for a movie. We would recommend this property to friends and family who are looking for a beautiful and quiet place to recharge.
Amazing property, comfortable and welcoming.
If you think it looks good on the site, it is better in person. There were two of us, but four could comfortably stay...maybe even six. The views from the front of the house were amazing, the home comfortable and inviting, and well equipped. Close to everything especially the most beautiful walk along the coast...a walk during which I encountered no fewer than 15 deer just walking the neighborhood too. I am ready to come back next year.

Very nice property with everything you could need
The two bedroom flat was just as pictured. Modern, clean and full of light from the many windows. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment and made it easy to prepare a few meals during our stay. The single car garage was easily accessible from our private patio/deck. However, the BBQ on our private patio was also easily accessible through the side gate and laundry room door. We were surprised to see someone from the adjoining flat using it on our first night there. When we inquired via text to the property manager we were told it was a shared BBQ. Obviously our private patio was no longer private and we kept the blinds closed on the kitchen and bedroom windows. The French doors leading to the patio did not have blinds and made us feel on display. The BBQ should be moved to a common location if it is to be shared and the patio should not be advertised as private.
Overall nice accommodations and great location. It's short walk to the beach. We had a great time.
Our family enjoyed the Bayview-by-the-Sea Monach suite very much. The accommodation was great for our family of four (adults) - the layout, the decoration, the cleanliness, the bedroom configuration optioins, the kitchen set up, the fireplace and the quiet neighbourhood were all great. We enjoyed the quiet location, the private deck, the gardens, simple access to the town and the ambience of tame wildlife (a family of young deer) roaming the nearby yards. The Monarch Butterfly sanctuary around the corner and the pedestrian running paths with fabulous views all made our stay very nice for all of us. Also the communication before our arrival, upon arrival and post visit from the host organization was clear, prompt and appreciated.
