the Blue Beach apartments were designed by a french architect, well defined expectations of connoisseurs and repeat visitors of Grand Case. I'm in love with this charming, laid back creole Village, who look around for more comfort and roomy vacation rentals. I was pleased by these brand new, centrally located condos that combine a fantastic location with high degree of privacy, comfort and lots of space.
The condo is located seaside in the center of grand case, sitting directly on the white sand beach of Grand Case, with a private access to the beach.
Near the villa blue beach, there are famous restaurants, "Le Cottage" is a few steps just across the street, well known "l'auberge gourmande" and the "bistrot Caraïbes" are close by too.
There are galleries, boutique for fashion, souvenirs and handicraft
Easiest review to write, it was excellent. Located near fantastic food places :L'Auberge Gourmande $$$, Lolo's (ribs and chicken)$, Le Moulin french patries and baguettes $ (outstanding!). We also stayed at the Villas of Simpson Bay Hotel and the Diva Resort for a few days (not our types of place, but it was nice to compare French and Dutch side). Nothing compares to this aparttment. We grilled on the lower deck several nights, cooked indoors when we wanted to. Great place. Bring your snockeling gear. Best snorkeling place was, however, right in front of the Diva in about 8' of water.
Three of us stayed in this beautiful two bedroom condo for two weeks! Itis very centrally located in the quaint Creole town of Grand Case, right on
the beach! The highlight of the building is the balcony overlooking the
beach which runs the width of the three story building. The second and
third floor units (we were on the second floor) are completely furnished
with table for six, and large lounge area. You can sit out there all day
out of the sun if you like, and around 4:00 when the sun starts to come
around and it gets hot, you can move out to the balcony on the street side
where there is always a lovely breeze and shade at that time of the day, and
its a great spot for people watching! The bedrooms are on the street side
of the building. One has 2 twin beds and an adjoining shower/sink, while
the other has a king bed with ensuite shower/sink, and they are air
conditioned with very quiet units. There is only one toilet located
between the two bedrooms. The kitchen/sitting room are in between the
balcony and bedrooms and face the ocean with sliding glass doors the entire
width. There is no a/c in this area however if you open the back french
doors you get a nice cross breeze. The kitchen is very well equipped but
small. The lower floor is split between and office on the beach side one
one side and second bathroom, with a shower on the balcony for washing the
sand off. There is also a shared laundry room located in the back. There is
a small wooden deck off the front with stairs down to the beach. Beach
chairs and towels are provided as well as all other linens. There is also a
charcoal Weber grille for your use on the deck. The beach is very quiet, at
times we were the only people there. The sand is fine and white and the
water perfect for swimming because this area of the bay is protected so
there are no big waves. The view if the entire bay is fantastic. There is
one parking spot per unit off street which is great because the street is
one lane, one way and parking is hard to come by, especially in the evenings
when the shops and fabulous French restaurants open and the tourists from
all over the island flood in.
The building is very clean and well maintained. It is secured from the
street and beach sides with locking iron gates and has a security system, as
well as metal roll down shutters across the beach balconies. There is
satellite TV however there are only French channels. The wifi reception is
pretty good but can be a bit
This condo apartment, two floors above the ground floor, is perfectly located in the restaurant row of St. Martin, Grand Case. Convenient as there is parking in front and the beach is right downstairs. The view from the apartment's terrace is unbelievable. Better than the pictures here. You can see Grand Case bay, Anguilla and Creole Rock. The manager is accommodating and everything went according to plan. The only thing that would make the apartment more perfect would be having the washing machine in the unit instead of a shared one on the ground floor. There is not much noise and the air conditioning keeps the bedrooms comfortable. Also the apartment was very clean and there are no annoying charges as everything, with final cleaning, is included in the quoted rental rate.
Sorry for the late review. My husband and I spent a wonderful week last summer in this condo.Very well located, immaculate, nice and clean .The view was just to take our breath away!Everything is walking distance and there are buses (even nice local people) ready to pick you up for a ride.We went all around the French side and decided to rent a car for one day to visit the other side. We preferred from far the French side.Beautiful beaches all over the island, nice people and very good food! Olivier was truly a great host and gave us useful tips for our stay.We are looking forward to go back!
We recently spent a week in St. Martin with our two young children and our stay at Villa Blue Beach was exceptional. The apartment was clean and modern, and the views were spectacular. The proximity to fabulous restaurants was also a huge plus. Olivier was very accommodating and promptly answered our many questions. We recommend this property without hesitation!
This is my 4th excursion using VRBO where I will share that this facility is exactly as it represents itself in the pictures. The entire complex is very clean and right in the heart of the Grand Case restaurant experience. Many nights, I would get "take out" from the local restaurants to eat on the balcony since the view from this condo is much better than what the restaurants offered. The view from the balcony is breath taking and never got old. If you are wanting to stay in St.Martin without renting a car, this is the ideal place where you can walk to anything you would need from restaurants to grocery supplies in nearby stores.
Grand Case has a very strong Carribbean flavor to it and is not "Americanized" like Aruba or Cayman Islands but is beautiful in who she is. Grand Case does have some exposure to poverty near by that may make some new visitors feel like they are on Jamaica with its poverty, but that window does not reflect Grand Case. The locals were very polite, respectful and were more than happy to offer assistance to me, my 80 year old mom and 11 year old son---having to speak French or attempt too only added to the adventure. Pinel Island and Snorkeling off one of the islands via a local tour is defintely worth the money- this is my 4th time in St. Martin; 1st staying in Grand Case.
Olivier ( the owner) is responsive to needs and was good to work with. This would be the only place I would return too if/when I come back to Grand Case where I would highly recommend this location in Grand Case.
