Duck Creek Village Cabin Rental Photos and Description

....Gorgeous 1900' 2 Bedroom / Loft Chalet style cabin

This cabin has literally undergone a complete transformation. Everything is new, from top to bottom. When you enter this cabin, you will be taken back by the size of the living room. It boasts 2 large sectional sofas (one with pull out bed), the ambiance of a real wood burning stove, a huge dining area, as well as a breakfast bar. The Master bedroom has a Queen bed, and its own private 2nd floor deck, looking onto the Mtn. It has gorgeous decor, and its own rocking chair. The secondary bedroom has 3 full beds, as well as 2 rocking chairs. Both rooms have an Electric Fireplace. It also has a stunning view of downtown Duck Creek Village. There's an outdoor Firepit area (firewood not provided), as well as a large propane bbq. I try to keep an extra bottle of propane handy, however, I do not guarantee it. Propane bottles can be filled or exchanged in the village.

About Doug Williams

I am a native of Las Vegas, and a semi-retired Plumbing Contractor, that has built various Supermarkets, High Rises, and Shopping Centers for the past 30 years. I have closed my 30 year old Plumbing company due to the economy, and I spend a great deal of time at my personal Cabin just down the road from this one. I enjoy meeting and talking with my newfound friends, who have traveled as far away as Canada, Europe, and the the Carib to stay here.

Doug Williams purchased this cabin in 2014

Why Doug Williams chose Utah

I chose Duck Creek, as it is just over a 3 hour drive from my hometown of Las Vegas. Duck Creek has all of the Beauty and Charm of the other mountain areas, without the noise. ,I have been allowing my Friends and Family to rent this Cabin for many years, and I've yet to encounter any problems or issues

What makes this cabin unique

This cabin is about the closest you can get to the Village. Its directly across the street, to enjoy the many restaraunts, shops, gatherings, etc. We have one other Rental Cabin in the Duck Creek Village area. Go to homeaway, and enter 902245 or 323300. We also have a large home in Las Vegas that we rent, ( Homeaway 3695893 ).

Beautiful cottage nestled in a small beautiful town, very well maintained, clean, neat and spacious. We had a wonderful time. The property is on the road easy to find 2 min walk to the town where action is. It is 40 min from Bryce and 1hr from Zion. The owners stopped by to make sure everything was alright. I would definitely stay again and would also recommended to my friends.

Clean, Spacious, Plenty Of Amenities, Prime Location Just Across From The Village At Duck Creek.

  • 5 of 5

The cabin is huge with tons of living space and a nice open floor plan. It had everything you could need. Great fire place inside, great fire pit outside, plenty of beds for 10+ people. Big bedrooms, two big full bathrooms. Easy to find, prime area right next to the village. Huge porch and plenty of seating throughout. Everyone in my party agreed this has been the best cabin that we have stayed at in 10 years of vacationing here. Owner was prompt, courteous, informative and one of the best. Will return. Thank you for a great stay.

Perfect Getaway

  • 4 of 5

We loved this cabin. The kitchen, dining room, and living room were a good size to accommodate a larger group. There is a bbq grill and the kitchen is stocked with almost everything in the cookware area. There were DVDs and games there to keep us busy in our down time. The only negatives are that the cabin sleeping 18 is a stretch, and the loft area was with the blow up mattress was really hot. But overall we really enjoyed our stay at this cabin and will return again.

Owner's Response: Thank so much for taking the time to write a positive review. Thanks also for the comment on the "sleeps 18" issue. This cabin originally had 2 sofa beds, as well as 2 separate blow up mattresses in the loft. I've since made some changes, but failed to update the ad listing. I will make these changes, and I hope that the sleeping arrangements did not negatively affect your stay. Unfortunately, when we have heat waves in Vegas, than its warmer than normal in Duck Creek. There us no way to cool the small loft, other than the small fan that's kept up there.

Great Place!

  • 5 of 5

Very nice cabin and good location. Everything was kept clean and well maintained. Owner is very helpful and responsive; we had lost the house keys, but he was very understanding and did not charge us anything, we just had to make a duplicate key from the nearby store. Overall a great rental!
