The villa itself is beautiful and well-located. The property allows for a comfortable and relaxing stay with a good degree of privacy.
Unfortunately, a few issues marred the overall quality of the stay. First, a number of light fixtures did not work - lightbulbs that were burnt out were not replaced. In one bedroom, two of the four lightbulbs were out. Second, several of the televisions could not get any signals. The batteries for the main gate died one day into our stay, so ended up having to open the gate manually each time we went out. On our third day, work crews were paving the road outside of the villa and we were not previously informed, almost leaving us locked in the villa because the entire road was closed for a full day. Most importantly, however, there were very dirty dishes that were put away in the cabinets. Glasses with dried red wine, dirty plates, dirty cups. We ended up having to wash all of the dishes before we could use any of it. It was rather disgusting.
Our apologies for the lack of cleanliness of the plates and silver that is unacceptable and we have fired the property manager together with their cleaning crews. All lights should have been properly replaced and were part of the duties of our property manager. In regards to the street work, we were not informed of the work either. We own another property on that street and were never told by the HOA. The TV signal and remote battery issue have both been resolved as well. Our apologies for these inconveniences and we would love to invite you back at a discounted rate as compensation.
Beautiful Location and wonderful house
I stayed at this house with my family through April 17th to the 24th and let me just say wow. Location wise this house was perfect, the 24/7 security at the front gate made my family and I feel very safe.The house was so easy to find from the airport and it was very spacious. There was a bathroom in every bedroom and we even had a few empty bedrooms which was a surprise since we traveled with 6 people. Overall the house was immaculate when we arrived and it was so beautiful. I will definitely be staying in this house again soon.
we had a wonderful time and this house is beautiful. The owners were easy to work with and the care taker too. Large enough for a large family or several families. very clean and beautiful. we will be back soon. Thanks April from Michigan.
April Aruba Trip
I went with three guys for a golf trip, eleven days left April 13, 2015. This was my 14th annual trip to Aruba and I have stayed in other homes in the Tierra Del Sol confines. This house if very nice with spectacular views. Nice living room with a large TV and Wi-Fi. Large dining room (which we didn't use) and the kitchen was very nice and well stocked, we didn't need any utensils or pots, pans, etc. Plenty of fridge/freezer space, nice wine fridge, good W/D. The house is very private and the pool was great. AC in every room, so heat wasn't an issue. Two issues we had was that the BBQ grill needs to be hooked up to the house gas (LP). There was only a small camper tank on the grill and it went out after 5 minutes. We wanted to use the grill, but the gas range in the kitchen was more than sufficient, 6 burners if I remember correctly. The other is that there is new house construction going on two lots down and they were digging the foundation so all the dirt was blown on and into the patio and pool. We called and a pool guy came out the next day to clean. However, they dug the next day and all the dirt was back in the pool. By now, I am sure they are done with digging the foundation so this shouldn't be a problem anymore. Definitely a great house and I will stay there again, certainly recommended. My deposit was refunded without issue.
WOW! Did we hit the lotery or what?
I cannot tell you enough good things about this beautiful house to give it the justice it deserves. This was our 1st time to Aruba, so I was very nervous about renting a house. Our family usually does the all-inclusive packages but this time I wanted to try something different and I'm I glad I did. This house had no reviews when I 1st booked it, then a few weeks later it had its 1st review written and it was not good at all. It was just a week or so until I was going to take my family to this horrible house lol. I called the property manager upon readying the review and I was going to cancel and get my money back because this house did not seem like a 5 star home. After talking with the property manager I thought I would stick it out and give the home a chance. That was the best thing I have EVER done.
The house was located in the best part of Aruba. When you 1st get to the neighborhood you go through a private guard gates then you enter a very nice community with beautiful homes. The community has an awesome club house that is there for you to use. The picture of the home does no justice to the community. The homes around this home are big and beautiful. There is a home next door that is under construction so it is a little bit of an eye sore today but does not impact this home at all. The house is as awesome as the pictures show it to be. The house is very well constructed and laid out very functional. We had 7 people with us and this house had more than enough space for all of us and our stuff. The kids had a blast with the pool each day before and after you hung out at the beaches for most of the day. All of the beds were comfortable and clean. Each room was like a suite. Each room had their own shower and its own A/c unit. The house overall was incredible. I would give it a 10+ on a scale of 1to10. It was that nice. The location to the beaches and all of the activities Aruba has to offer put this house died center of all the Aruba fun. We rented a jeep for the week which was another highlight of the trip. The jeep allowed us to travel EVERY back road Aruba had to offer. What a blast! The natural pools were a must to see and enjoy.
We did cook at the house a few nights and the kitchen was set-up excellent and had all of the right cooking utensils. Each room of the house had excellent A/C units that kept each room very cool. I could not find one thing wrong with this incredible home. I’m just lucky that they open this awesome home up to my family.

Beautiful house in and out , spacious however it is lacking lots of essentials needed when staying at a house if your going to stay at a house it should provide everything necessary for you to cook with We spended a good amount of money on food for us to cook and we ended not eating for two days on the house because of lack of gas, the lack of gas was resolved the day after however one must think that someone should be on top of the gas meter for such events not to happen, we have 2 babys on the house that needed to be fed and couldnt provide them with food at the time. There is also lack of utensils very poor pots and pans ,set of knifes dont cut we even hired a private chef since we were celebrating my sistsers bday he even had something to say about the accesories provided with the house ... There are no blinds in the living room which makes it imposible to be in of how hot it gets during the day.. There are also no blinds in the bathroom of the room im sleeping in so aside from the fact everyone can see you taking a shower it also makes you wake up when the sun sets because the sun hits directly where the bed is ... The maitenance group aside from the contractor arent very serviceful.. Weve been here a week and the pool company has not been here once... The pool has a bunch of plants next to it and it is very windy during the day and the pool is always dirty.. The cleaning lady never has time to clean anything you have to be on top of her for her to actually clean.. Overall the house is really nice i just dont think is ready to be rented there a lot of things missing and they should get a better maintenance team.
