Our home is in the town of Oak Bluffs on a quiet residential street about 15 minutes easy walking distance to the town of Oak Bluffs and Oak Bluffs Harbor through the lovely historical gingerbread Cottages. The house is a very clean and well maintained ranch with 3 bedrooms (1 queen, 1 full, 2 twin beds) and 1 1/2 baths. About Jessica Balboni Gonzalez

Our parents built this as our summer home in 1988, and eventually retired here where they lived until 2012. This has been our family home since 1988 and the land and adjacent home has been in our family for four generations. We summered on the vineyard where our grandmother lived since the day we were born. It is a special place for us with many wonderful memories.

Jessica Balboni Gonzalez purchased this house in 1988

Why Jessica Balboni Gonzalez chose Oak Bluffs

We love this house and enjoy coming here all throughout the year and wish to keep this special home and all its wonderful memories in the family.

What makes this house unique

Because this is a family home, it has been treated with tender loving care and the people who come here feel welcome and comfortable as if it were their own home.

Tranquil, Clean, and Spacious

  • 5 of 5

The house was perfect for our family vacation. The property was just as described, clean comfortable and peaceful. It is in a great location with an easy walk to the town tennis courts, town center and Oak Bluffs Harbor. The owner answered all our questions and was very attentive before and during our stay. You can tell that this home is cared for with TLC and is kept very clean. The back deck and outdoor shower added even more space and convenience for dinners with family and friends. We are definitely thinking of booking for next year.

Great affordable option for 2-3 families

  • 4 of 5

This is a nice affordable option for an Oak Bluffs house. The bedrooms were cozy but the common areas were very spacious and there's a really nice backyard that was much larger than we anticipated (and perfectly maintained). Perfect for a small quiet BBQ with friends. The owner was great throughout the process and remained super communicative throughout the process. Nice location with easy access to the major spots on the island. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic Property, Location and Island

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time in Oak Bluffs and visiting many areas of Martha's Vineyard.

The location of the house was great, we came in with car on the Vineyard Haven ferry and departed on the Oak Bluffs ferry, both not too far from the house. We went to downtown Oak Bluffs several times, very convenient.

The house was perfect for our large family, exactly as pictured/advertised. It was cool and rainy but we still enjoyed the outdoor shower!

Hope to come back soon!

  • 5 of 5

Jessica was an absolute pleasure to work with! She answered all of our questions, was very accommodating, and provided us a great list of recommendations of sights to see and things to do!

The house was amazing! On a quiet road, but within walking distance to Oak Bluffs and conveniently located to bop around the island! There was ample room for all of our guests; the open layout made it easy to move between the living room, dining room and kitchen.

The back deck and outdoor shower were a delight!

Also, the layout of the house makes it easy for early risers to get up and start their day while not disrupting friends & families that are sleeping-in.

We'll definitely consider staying here again during any future trips to Martha's Vineyard!

Weekend Wedding

  • 5 of 5

Our group of 6 friends stayed here for a weekend for a wedding in the "off season," September 9th-11th. All of us had nothing but wonderful things to say about this house - tons of space, clean and comfortable bedrooms, and plenty of bathrooms/ showers that were greatly appreciated when our large group was getting ready for the wedding. Jessica was very prompt with her replies to our questions and went out of her way to assist us and to make sure we were comfortable. Our first day in the house was unseasonably hot, and Jessica delivered extra fans for us to use as the AC units were already removed at the end of summer.

The house does not use a key, but a code box on the door, which actually was really useful for our large group.

In terms of location and area, our experience only reflects the "off season." It was about a 15min walk to a main street to access brunch restaurants and grocery store. Otherwise we used cabs and Uber to get around Oaks Bluffs to wedding events.
