Cozy cabin - had a peaceful weekend

  • 5 of 5

Lovely location in the woods yet close to a decent super market and other small stores. The house was in a secluded location inside the woods. Beautiful rustic setup, huge deck with grill. Loved the bedroom on the loft, it was amazing waking up to the early morning mountain view from the loft bedroom. The kitchen was indeed a bit small but well stocked, didnt find it difficult to do some basic cooking. The owners were very responsive to our emails. Overall very good experience, would definitely come back again!!

Pleasant Piney Point Stay

  • 5 of 5

Had a very enjoyable stay at the Piney Point! The home was very clean, the kitchen well stocked for real cooking and just as Pierre and Emily described it. The outdoors was really well maintained and we really enjoyed the fire pit, outdoor eating and grilling opportunities. It was also very close to Woodstock and we really appreciated the tips and suggestions from them on what to do in the area. The hosts were very responsive and had a good stock of DVD's to choose from!

A few things worth mentioning. You need to bring your own linens and there isn't any Wifi. We didn't miss or need Internet which was refreshing. Would suggest bringing a portable stereo if you want to listen to music.

Perfect weekend getaway

  • 5 of 5

We had an awesome stay at this house. The upstairs bedroom was really magical to wake up in, with the light coming through the huge window. The living room was super cozy and clean, and the kitchen and bathroom were the perfect size for the two of us. The surrounding area is great for hikes and is close to Woodstock and Phoencia. We'd definitely stay here again!

peaceful getaway

  • 5 of 5

The cabin is cozy and clean. I stayed with my partner over President's Day weekend. The weather was well below zero but between the heating and wood burning stove the place was comfortable. The cabin is spacious and comfortable for two people but I think any more than that would be crowded. The furniture in this place is the right size for the place so it doesn't feel cluttered and it's also some of the most comfortable chairs/sofa I've ever sat in. There is no wifi or TV but my phone (verizon) had great reception in the house. It is in a great location --just about a mile away from a good supermarket and wine store as well as a great cafe and pub. The kitchen was small but well stocked with pots and pans and everything you need to make meals. We didnt get to enjoy the outdoor spaces because of the weather but it looked lovely and private.
