This bright and sunny A-frame is the quintessential Netarts vacation rental cottage: casual, laid-back, but equipped with all the basics you'll need to enjoy a fantastic weekend and walk to the beach every day! If you're looking for a cozy, rustic accommodation offering an off-the-grid experience, this one's for you.
The main room has rustic wood-paneled ceilings, adding to the vintage charm of the cottage. The kitchen has everything you'll need to prepare the fish you caught earlier that day, and you can enjoy them at the small, sun-drenched dining table. Settle in with a good book on the comfy sofa, made even cozier with a fire in the wood stove on chilly nights. The bedroom has a queen bed, and the loft has a twin futon, plus extra mattresses for additional guests. There's also a television with DVD player, but the best part of the house is undoubtedly the expansive wraparound deck, which is bathed in sunlight in the afternoons and the perfect place to breathe in the ocean air. The cottage is also dog-friendly, so no need to leave any family members behind (though nightly and minimum fees apply).
This charming vacation rental is just a short five minute walk to a long stretch of sandy beach, reaching all the way to Oceanside. Spend a day strolling along the sand to this quaint coastal town, or head to Netarts Bay for some of the region's best clamming, crabbing, and fishing. This charming vacation home makes a great home base to explore the riches of the Northern Oregon Coast!

We were so lucky to have gotten such a great place so quickly. My uncle passed very suddenly which meant funeral services happened fast also. The location was excellent, scenery beautiful and accommodations wonderful, and the fact that they were ok with pets was a plus! The home is older, and has the charm of such but we would stay here over and over again!
The property was deceptive. It was muddy at every entrance. The heating was not effective at all.
As stated above, the only problems that we experienced were fighting to keep the floor clean, and heating the place. We were presently surprised to see firewood, but our was to wet to start (but that is not the fault of the facility, they clearly state that you can bring your own.) The electric heaters were not enough to keep it warm enough for me, and I'm fat and hairy. It was a worn, but clean cottage that was a perfect getaway.
We apologize for any cleanliness and heating problems this guest encountered. We wish the guest had called for assistance during their stay with these matters. The property manager will investigate the heating. Thank you!
Charming rustic little weathered little cottage with solitude. Overall a decent value for the money. No issues that are really a deal breaker.
Nice place. Kind of expensive.
Doe Cottage could use a little TCL. The property was clean, for the most part but a bit run down. Doesn't appear to be much pride of ownership here. And you almost need a 4-wheel drive to get up the driveway. I would not rent this house again mainly because of the driveway.
Simple place. Peaceful, private location even though it is near the main road. Has good separation from the neighbors. Easy to get to all the locations in/around Netarts. I actually appreciated the fact that it has no Wi-Fi as that allowed me to really chill-out and not try and do business while on vacation! Felt like a real getaway! Kitchen has all one needs. Great place for crabbers. Grill is helpful to cook/dry-out crabs.
